Lafadz Prayers That Are Read When Performing Sujud Gratitude, Sujud Syahwi and Sujud Recitations

  • Prayers that are recited when performing prostrations of gratitude, prostrations of syahwi, and prostrations of recitations are expressions of gratitude and respect to Allah SWT. When performing prostrations of gratitude, Muslims express their gratitude for the favors and gifts He has bestowed. Meanwhile, during the prostration of syahwi, Muslims convey their apologies and confession of sins to Allah SWT. And when performing prostration recitations, Muslims pray for guidance and understanding in dealing with the holy verses of the Qur'an. All of these prayers are a form of devotion and obedience to Allah SWT which must always be done by Muslims at every opportunity.
    1. PROTEST OF GRATITUDE.
    Subhaanallaah Wal Hamdu Lillaahi Wa Laa Ilaaha Illallaahu Wallaahu Akbar. Laa Haula Wala Quwwata Illa Billah.
    Glory be to Allah and All Praise be to Allah, There is no god but Allah, Allah is the Greatest. There is no power and strength except for Allah, the Most High, the Most Great.
    2. SUJUD SAHWI
    Subhana Man Laa Yanaamu Wa Laa Yas-Huw.
    Glory be to the One Who Does Not Sleep And Does Not Forget.
    Or It Can Also Be With Other Prayers As Follows:
    Subhaanakallahumma Robbanaa Wa Bi Hamdika, Allahummagh Firliy.
    "Glory to You, O Allah, Our Lord, With All Praise to You, Forgive My Sins"
    3. PROTEST TILAWAH
    Sajada Wajhiya Lil Ladzii Khalaqahu Wa Shawwarahu Wa Syaqqa Sam‘Ahu Wa Basharahu Bi Haulihi Wa Quwwatihi Fa Tabaarakallaahu Ahsanul Khaaliqiina.
    “Servant prostrate to the One Who Created and Shaped Him, Opens His Hearing and Seeing With His Might and Power. Glory be to Allah, the Best Essence of the Creator, "
    And in addition, when we prostrate recitations we can also read the following prayer:
    Allaahummaktub Lii Bihaa 'Indaka Ajran, Waj'alhaa Lii 'Indaka Dzukhran, Wa Dha' 'Annii Bihaa Wizran, Waqbalhaa Minnii Kamaa Qabiltahaa Min 'Abdika Dawuda.
    “O Allah, make me a reward through this prostration by your side. Make this prostration as my deposit by your side. And with this prostration, let go of my burden of sin. Accept this prostration of mine as you accept the prostration of your servant, Dawud As,' (HR At-Tirmidhi),"
