    _she has a good voice for asmr, it's relaxing just listening to her like that. I was able to understand four questions but could not answer any of the questions_

    I don't know much Japanese at the moment, but I try to learn new words in my spare time. I couldn't understand most of the questions but I was able to understand a word or two from each sentence which makes me happy. That means, one day, I will understand even more if I keep going ^-^

    I also started learning Japanese due to anime and most of us but many of our friends gave up in the starting

      Same here. Originally I had quite a few friends who tried but they all gave up later... I'd nearly given up too until I found reasons other than anime to keep learning. I think the most important thing is that you have a very motivating reason to keep going and you build a study habit so that studying is like brushing your teeth. Now that I've gotten this far, I don't think giving up is even an option. It would feel so wrong to stop studying.

      I have been studying Japanese so much so that I decided to include modern Japanese culture, cuisine as well. I spend 2 hours studying every day. To be more precise, I spend approximately 1 hour expanding my vocabulary and 1 hour developing my listening skills. The next day, I spend 1 hour writing kanji characters and 1 hour developing my reading skills. I have been doing so since 19. It has been a year already.

    This really makes me realize how much more Japanese I know than I think I know. I surprised myself since I was able to understand all 10 questions with ease. I find myself always being very unsure of myself and self-conscious when learning new languages so this was a bit of a confidence booster for me!

    This was so cool, thanks for teaching me. At times I would repeat teeny bits and pieces in to translate voice to text, so I could understand what parts of the sentence meant what. I have learned that iiye means no, un means yes, ichiban ski means favorite, teruyo means I, and shi-teru means I'm doing.

    Even though I was able to only pick out a few words in some cases, and replied with few word sentences (or one word,) it's still progress! I like to practice and this is great for doing that.

    i understood six of them 5 7 and 9 i understood half of the sentence i was really surprised since i learned a lot from anime and some from self studying

      I didn't even study the language. But I really love Japanese culture ❤

    i understood 8 questions without subtitles!
    (i understood the 5th one a bit but i didn't count it because i didnt know one of the words, though i did understand that they were asking me with one i liked the most)

    The first one was easy, but the rest very, very hard. I'm used to hearing です(desu) or ます(masu) when studying. I wish I could learn how to speak more informal.

    When you said 歌詞 I understood it as 菓子! I guess it's all about context?
