_she has a good voice for asmr, it's relaxing just listening to her like that. I was able to understand four questions but could not answer any of the questions_
I don't know much Japanese at the moment, but I try to learn new words in my spare time. I couldn't understand most of the questions but I was able to understand a word or two from each sentence which makes me happy. That means, one day, I will understand even more if I keep going ^-^
I love this video because I'm always shy when I try speaking another language, I'm usually good at reading, writing and listening so this video was helpful! Arigathank you! And please do continue with the uploads👍🏻❤️❤️❤️
i just found this video and it is super helpful! the way that the exercise is paced and how the speaker and the audience take turns in practicing Japanese is a good format to practice. thank you so much! i will be supporting you from now on.
I'm studying Japanese by myself and I can understand half of the questions you've asked. I like the way you teach. Looking forward to more tutorials. Thank you!
Same here. Originally I had quite a few friends who tried but they all gave up later... I'd nearly given up too until I found reasons other than anime to keep learning. I think the most important thing is that you have a very motivating reason to keep going and you build a study habit so that studying is like brushing your teeth. Now that I've gotten this far, I don't think giving up is even an option. It would feel so wrong to stop studying. がんばりましょう!
@@user-kl3pl1gf7x Exactly same situation here also so let's become buddies because here in my state I mean the place where I live no one understands me due to Japanese learning and watching animes
I have been studying Japanese so much so that I decided to include modern Japanese culture, cuisine as well. I spend 2 hours studying every day. To be more precise, I spend approximately 1 hour expanding my vocabulary and 1 hour developing my listening skills. The next day, I spend 1 hour writing kanji characters and 1 hour developing my reading skills. I have been doing so since 19. It has been a year already.
This really makes me realize how much more Japanese I know than I think I know. I surprised myself since I was able to understand all 10 questions with ease. I find myself always being very unsure of myself and self-conscious when learning new languages so this was a bit of a confidence booster for me!
Wonderful video, Tanaka san! Very thorough. It would be nice to hear more example answers from Egg-san :). But i understand if it is difficult. Thank you so much for great videos!
Despite being in a Japanese class, not many can speak it or feel comfortable to so I don't have anyone to practice Japanese with. This was cute and very helpful! ありがとうございます 一番:ラメンがママ好きです 二番:アイスがいいです 三番:何でもない... 四番:いいえ、たなかーさんはいいです。心配しないでください。 五番:ああ、知りません。その沢山。 六番:綺麗ですね 七番:午後三時がいてもいいですか。 八番:アニメ、だから今は音楽。 九番:木曜日がいてもいいですか。 十番:可愛くではないです
Thank you for this video! Your voice is very sweet and soothing, so I really feel like I'm chatting with friend. I understood almost all questions, but could answer only for 3-4. There are so many words that I don't know yet... 😥
Even though I was able to only pick out a few words in some cases, and replied with few word sentences (or one word,) it's still progress! I like to practice and this is great for doing that.
The first one was easy, but the rest very, very hard. I'm used to hearing です(desu) or ます(masu) when studying. I wish I could learn how to speak more informal.
Arigato Tanaka San, I love Japanese, and I want to learn it so bad. I instantly clicked on the video when I opened up RUclips just now and I understood the first few words you said- they were "Hi everyone, I'm Tanaka" right? I haven't watched the rest yet...I'm about to after this comment. Thanks again.
Thank you for the video I understand everything 😢 You gave me motivation because I was scared that after so much studying I wasn't able to understand everything and luckily that's not the case
This was so cool, thanks for teaching me. At times I would repeat teeny bits and pieces in to translate voice to text, so I could understand what parts of the sentence meant what. I have learned that iiye means no, un means yes, ichiban ski means favorite, teruyo means I, and shi-teru means I'm doing.
i understood six of them 5 7 and 9 i understood half of the sentence i was really surprised since i learned a lot from anime and some from self studying
Hello same here❤❤ However this is what I learned from watching anime for 7 years. I was surprised myself that I understood 8 sentences without subtitles 😅 I didn't even study the language. But I really love Japanese culture ❤
TanakaSan great stuff. There is a typo in this video in the English it says "has" where it should say "hat". This error happens every time the hat is mentioned. Am enjoying your wonderful work. ありがとございます
i understood all questions save for the one about singers...ah but i could hardly answer by myself - i always struggle with speaking even when it comes to english and my own mother tongue... so awkward... thank you ~!
I only understand a word here and there like hello, and please. But, you videos are nice to listen to. I hope to get off of basics at some point lol. Thanks for uploading these.
My speaking and understanding is bad, but i'm still impressed that i managed to kinda understand one question (Numer 8). I really should've started with speaking rather than writing
I understood 9 questions, but one of them wrong. I didn't know the word for singers. I was able to answer in an understandable way that would keep the conversation going, even if it wasn't the best Japanese on my side. Maybe I should actually start learning Japanese for real and not just watching anime... So far I gave up twice after barely touching some basics.
i understood 8 questions without subtitles! (i understood the 5th one a bit but i didn't count it because i didnt know one of the words, though i did understand that they were asking me with one i liked the most)
I understand 7 questions but my problem is i don't know how to answer in a full sentences. But. will try to learn speaking more. Thank you Tanaka-sensei :)

I only understood 1, but I'm still proud since I'm mainly focusing on alphabets. I'll keep practicing!
Hahaha omg this is so cute 😍😍😍 I love this idea!
1:48I think she said when did you start learning Japanese is that right?
Almost. She asks WHY did you start learning Japanese.
If you want to study the writing more I would recommend watching this with Japanese subtitles to then write it down
TanakaSan great stuff. There is a typo in this video in the English it says "has" where it should say "hat". This error happens every time the hat is mentioned. Am enjoying your wonderful work. ありがとございます
