I like this because trying to figure out the card distracts me from worrying about understanding the words. It also gives good context to guess at words better. That's helpful, because I'm noticing that there are a lot of words I don't understand, but the grammar is more understandable. (I guess I should focus on vocabulary more, but memorization is boring and hard to focus on, for me.) Seeing Japanese subtitles with Japanese voice is also helpful. It's difficult to find sometimes, because automatic subtitles are not reliable (especially for Japanese with its kanji).

I do have a suggestion, part way into this but the English at the bottom is making it difficult to stare at the japanese at the top. If you could make it so the english was optional (maybe using closed captions to have it, or use closed captions to block it) i think it would be helpful for some.
