On a macro level it seems to me that the lower midtones are slightly lighter when developed in HRX than those in XTOL 1+1 leading to the image having less „pop“. Micro contrast in HRX is stunning, though. I would be VERY interested in seeing a comparison of characteristic curves… Thanks for the video!
Seeing your initial look at the two, I like the pop and deeper contrast and blacks of Xtol. But the HRX does seem sharper. Id be curious to see results of HRX at box speed for Acros. Side note, I noticed you said ress-i-praw-city vs your usual ress-i-proh-city. :p
Hey ! Greetings from Quebec ! Nice shirt by the way 😛📺📻
Thanks Andy for this video about the spur developer.
Great video! TFS.

Thanks. Looks to me that the xtol lowers the ACROS ISO a stop or even more. The HRX looks good. I need to find how it works with Tmax 100.
I'm sure it'll work well with it. I have a few 4x5 sheets of it kicking around here somewhere....🤔

I did that pronunciation just for you... but don't worry...it the proper way from now on!
@@analogueandy8x10 haha ok. Which way you mean in that I'll be watching.
It would be interesting to see what a semi-stand could do with this pairing
That's next weeks video! 😀
