The colors next to the antenna attachments tell you which wire goes where... But *THANK YOU* for pointing out that the connections are directional. That black wire isn't quite long enough to make it easy, sigh.
Yup
I've worked on 100s of these and you need to be ultra careful with the WiFi connectors. Failure to snap them in properly you're into a replacement WiFi loom, removing the screen to do so. It is best to fit the antenna leads before securing the WiFi card.

What do i do when the screw ports break , my laptops screws dont work cos of it and itts hangging loose
Also when i apply sone pressure it shows pixels on the screen and freezes
Jb weld the brass part in place. Not sure about the pixels thing.

Most do, but I'm not sure for this one. You can try.
@@ItsBinhRepaired The e7470 can operate without a battery. A post-laptop-life e7470 is a handy home server; it also can support 2.5GbE via USB if you have a faster upstream. Not sure about 5GbE, but that's still an oddball in price and availability.

Simple answer is no. I'm going to assume you don't know what an hdd is or looks like? I always wonder how people know the terms, but don't know what they're talking about. You could use an external one, but how would you fit one internally if I told you yes? Technically anything is possible if you do extreme modifications or understand computer circuitry to make changes that aren't normally possible.
If the reason is to add more storage capacity, your best bet is to get a larger SSD and clone the old one to it.
