I really like these Rebuild the Galaxy sets because they are what Lego's brand is about, being creative. And I hope they do this more with their other licensed themes like Minecraft and Marvel that aren't just Animal houses and Vemonized characters.
I just got this set and it’s the first Falcon I have owned, and I think it’s the very coolest Falcon they’ve ever made and will never make again. It’s so sick, everything about is wild and unexpected, the figures are phenomenal, and design is incredible, this is just be one of my personal favorite LEGO sets they’ve ever made period!!

Here is tips you can recreation as seen in Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker: 1. Used Darth Rey, swap her head with other variant of Rey's head from TFW, TLJ, and THROS, and build ruin death star 2 place. Put The Rise Skywalker Rey and dark version herself. 2. Take off bounty hunter C-3PO's head, put on the rise of skywalker C-3PO's body, and build the scene in Kijimi.
Probably my favourite LEGO Star Wars set in recent memory. Shame its such a high price. Hopefully there'll be a cheaper way to pick up those minifigs sometime soon
The ramp is a nice addition, the set is better with the option to put the ramp down for either display or play purposes, we’ve seen many scenes in Star Wars where somebody gets picked up by a ship hovering with the ramp down

I never even knew the original animation for this dedicated millennium falcon set, and it looks great. As someone getting reaquatinted with the hobby i would buy it
It kinda sucks that the one chance we get to have something from non-Disney canon they don't give us Mara Jade. Like, does anyone really care about the Darth Rey vision that was just long enough for them to put it in the trailer? A new Thrawn and Mara Jade in the same wave of sets would have gone so hard, bc they were both originally introduced in the true sequel trilogy, the Heir To The Empire trilogy.
The set is way too expensive for me to justify getting it seeing as I may casual Star Wars fan, but I can’t deny this looks really cool and the fact we actually got a Jedi Vader & Darth Jar Jar in any Lego set is really cool! As a sidenote, I do like how the series doesn’t have these two overstay they’re welcome. Don’t give me wrong it would’ve been hilariously awesome to see Darth jar be the main villain, but it was a better decision to let an original character play the main villain role in this series to make it a bit more personal for our protagonist. And as for Vader, they never elaborate on what his history in this new universe is, so it’s purely left up to speculation.

Lego should've made Luke Skywalker into a Sith Lord for this set. Would've fit with the theme just as well and would've given us a proper Mark Hamill minifigure
It might be valuable, given Lego's usual greediness. Unless Jedi Vader is the final gift in some future Christmas calendar. And there is no doubt that this figure is perfect for that! Also, it would be nice if they made him his own little diplomatic/rescue ship under $70. Just not a Twilight trash can, rather a modified Naboo or Sienar personal yacht, that would be great! Or at least a heavily modified rebel/ex-imperial fighter, priced under $50.
So Jangbricks made a really good point that all the Lego minifigs are actually pupil-less bc its just a dark eye with a white highlight which is true, so the colored eyed figs just match the normal ones now bc their eye is the correct color with just a highlight and no pupil bc no minifigs have pupils it’s just the white highlight on the black eyes making you think that.
I think we are focusing too much on the exact anatomy and terminology, the point is they removed a part of the eye design and I think it look awful lol.

Sense my house burned down may 18th I lost my entire Lego collection is gone. But I had a falcon I made in to yt2000 custom build now I want both of these to make a yt2000 and a yt2400 using the two
I understand why they call it the dark falcon but…. The falcon was literally equivalent to a “space tug boat” it was a freighter its not outside the realm of possibilities for the dark side to have had one or something like it. Although I think the dark colors and black is a cool aesthetic
I found all the August sets early at my local LEGO retailer and most of them were sold out but i snagged a battle on Peridia and Jedi Bobs Starfighter.
Now i know that The head on Redeemed Vader is not cannon because of how George Lucas explained why Anakin Skywalker's force ghost is young instead of old. Because Force Ghosts take the form of how the force user looked during the last moments when they were a Jedi.

I have no complaints about the Darth Rey. Her eyes look alright and don't look ask that bad and the teeth if you made them sharp and jagged the head would end up looking like Bib Fortuna
Darth Rey doesn't even have Sith eyes in the movie, so honestly I think it would he a good move to just swap the head out for another angry female head (maybe Hermione from Harry Potter, her minifigure has similar freckles).

I'd color change a lot of the grey into RED (or transparent RED). This would be a great set to customize the colors for a sick evil look.

Put the figure that is to the back (Rey in this case) of the cockpit with her inner arm by her side instead and they'll fit just fine
