There is so much space in this one! The huge level lot is great, and given the lush greenery, it looks like it would work for ornamental gardening, or even as a small farm. Not sure if you have a theory about drop ceilings, but my guess is that less air space above would reduce heating bills, and it was also a style thing, making a space look more 'modern'. Of course, it's horribly dated now. To me they make the space look like an office or a mobile home. :(

It will make a lovely home indeed. The kitchen is a fantastic space. I would love to take on that home but for the price.
I think they're under water now and I believe it's going to get worse in the coming month's with a price correction/crash. Long term it will level out and could make sense for a family that knows they can stay put and afloat no matter what comes. Most investors at this point are waiting on the sidelines for the crash prices.
The great part is that most all the work can be DIY. So if it even gets close to the $75k Kevin stated it would be spread out over the year's of the project and not be a big outlay starting day one. A perfect scenario for a lot of people. It will be beautiful when completed.
It's listed as a cash sale only? That alone drastically shrinks their potential buyers market.
