I liked outlast 2 because it did something that the original didn't and thats the whole mindfuck thing of the story as it goes through, in Outlast one i remember one line that says *How do you know you are not a patient?* Think about it what if Miles was actually losing his mind and he sees things at the camera that his own eyes don't that would be so cool, but i cannot say that i had high expectations for Outlast 2 too that i was hoping to see. Let's just hope the best for this Universe and how it expands throught the years and how all things will come to an End.

I love how Outlast was built like an old classic horror movie with the use of a small orchestra and classic violins. Especially the chase music from Trager was glorious. Looking at RE for example, the music sounds much more modern and they used mostly a bigger orchestra. With limited resources, Samuel Laflamme created something gorgeous and satisfying. It's what makes the game special
Maybe a movie will help to expand more the universe to cover things that the game doesn't have the time to explain and knowing that one game takes 3 to 4 years to tell One story

Samuel Laflamme Once again I finished this game, each jumpscare I knew that was approaching still got me, the music still as brilliant. And even though I knew the twist at the end of the srory I could not help my jaw from hitting the floor when this song plays. Pure cinematic and sound artistry from all of you. You created an emotional rollercoaster ride, there is something so juxtaposed with this track, your character has just died after a horrific ordeal and once the twist hits you, black screen and instead of something sad or remorseful there is this dark yet somehow heroic feeling when the credits roll. As if the action has chased you inside the credits themselves. Once again, phenomenal work. I highly look forward to your next project.

Out of all the scary horror games out there, this was the one that scared the living hell out of me. Like, i never got so scared playing a videogame until i played Outlast. It grabbed me, it dragged me, it never let me go. It transported me to the crazy, twisted and dark world of the asylum. Thank you Red Barrels, thank you for scaring the shit out of me with your game. A true horror masterpiece for the real horror fans -- sure, if they have the guts to play it.
Outlast is a short but awesome game. It will always be the best to me. I can only imagine what a remastered version would be like. After watching the ending of outlast 1, I was really sad, and this soundtrack increased my sadness to a whole new level, i think, miles should had got his freedom.

I knew i wasn't gonna get outta that asylum alive as soon as i realized that lift kept going down.... that priest tricked me he wanted me to see that underground part of the asylum , i wonder if you could take the stairs instead of the lift and get a different ending ?!!!
Actually you can see in the Whistleblower that Miles survived, he took control (Or got controlled) of the Walrider. Also, he killed Jeremy the prick.

StarMecha Depending on how he writes, either english isn't his main language or he's trolling. I'm going to go with the 2nd one. Also, whistleblower and outlast are set in the same time. So when Park's trying to escape, Mile's also trying to escape. And somewhere in whistleblower you can see a church setting on fire (Where the priest got crucified).

After watching the ending of outlast 1, I was really sad, and this soundtrack increased my sadness to a whole new level, i think, miles should had got his freedom.
