    I love the TT02. Got mine up to 90mph so far looking to get to over 100 this year.

    • @RCACTIONAUSTRALIA
      @RCACTIONAUSTRALIA  4 года назад +2

      Wow 🤩 I’d be happy with 60mph

    • @KaizerTest
      @KaizerTest 4 года назад +1

      @@RCACTIONAUSTRALIA You can check my 90mph video out on my channel. I had to take the body off and run it with no body because it kept doing back flips as air got under it....lol.
      But since that day I haven't had much luck with this car. Today I did 74mph and crashed like 3 times...I couldn't keep it straight. Same for my slash 4x4 speed run car. I got up to 84mph and the pinion and spur grenaded their teeth.

    If you do upgrade your motor mount Id suggest staying away from the adjustable one. I heard the motor can possibly slip from its position under pressure particularly if you running a more powerful setup like with a 3s battery causing the spur gears to strip. Id recommend the fixed position engine mount upgrade.

    • @RCACTIONAUSTRALIA
      @RCACTIONAUSTRALIA  Год назад +1

      Ran the adjustable one without issues and got the car going close to 100 km/hr. I do agree on reflection the YR alloy is a waste of money. The Tamiya upgrades are far superior but expensive.

    My kind of content! My advice is get some Ulti foams from Walters hobbies to help with traction. And a good body like the Toyota GT1 form Two key rc. Then find a nice long wide stretch of road and use all the range in your controller to build up the speed.
    Looking forward to seeing some more of this.

      Haven’t been to any local races for about 15 years. I enjoy the building and hunting down rare kits side these days. I used the high speed spur gear, adjustable motor mount and a 26T pinion.
      The Chassis became uncontrollable and I ended up selling this one on.

    I'd like to buy one when stock arrives in Australia, not much around at the moment. I have a couple of HPI Lamborghini an other low profile shells that will fit tt01/02 because they are such a low profile car and the low cg should make them handle to.
