Big River Euro Nymphing - Intimidated by Big Water? Don't Be! - Code Breaker Angler

- In the past I was oftentimes intimidated by big river systems. Where do fish hold, how deep should I fish, what if the water is super uniform without any structure, and is Euro nymphing the right technique or should I be indicator nymphing? All questions that ran through my mind. The good news is, big river morphology follows the same patterns as streams and smaller rivers which means it's actually not as complicated as you might think.

@@GilbertRowley My younger used to fish with me until he fell in love with deer hunting. Now he says, "What's fishing!" However, we squirel hunt together and I cherish our time out there together!

Thanks Ryan! We fish a Modular Euro Leader. Easier to cast, and films better with a little thicker sighted compared to a Micro Thin Euro leader. If you have the masterclass, it’s shown in both the Modern Nymphing module (Devin’s Leader), and in Modern Nymphing Elevated (Modular Euro Leader). Thanks again!

Nice 1st gen Sequoia. Just picked one up 2 weeks ago after wrecking my 98 4runner. Also what gloves are those, just regular mechanics nitrile gloves? Personally I love euronymphing big water, easy to just work in a grid.

@@GilbertRowley Sequoia is honestly mostly an upgrade and my insurance payout more than payed for it so I'm not sweating too much. Only downside is it's not going to be quite as capable on hardcore off-road but I plan on building it out for that. Mine is at 265k, runs like a top and sooo much more power plus all the fancy goodies and the third row seating will come in handy for parish stuff.
