I don't know why western tourists hate Sihanoukeville. I was there last year and it was much cleaner and beautiful than PP or Siem Reap. Even though it's over run by Chinese tourist that still doesn't take anything away from it.

I'm a cambodian american and just visited Cambodia last year for the first time. I fell in love with Sihanoukeville despite the place being over run by Chinese people. The city is much cleaner and the massive sidewalk allows you to freely walk, exercise, and ride a bike. I'm in love with the sunset and sunrise there. Such a beautiful place in my opinion.
The flag with 6 different colours is refer to Buddhism, the one that has Angkor Wat Logo is Nation Flag and the last one with a gold symbol is King's Flag. Thanks for posting about the Kingdom of Wonder of Cambodia.
Oh and by the way a dish you should definitely try is the lok lak dish with beef. I know fish amok is the national dish but lok lak is literally amazing.
Summer season starts from March till May in Cambodia. It is boiling hot. Rainy season begins from June till the end of October. There’re often rain and downpours. Temperature drops to 28 degree celsius. The best time to visit Cambodia is from December till February as temperature can drop to 18 degree celsius.

I've been to many countries in Southeast Asia but the Cambodia I visited was a terrible experience. I was robbed in Phnom Penh. And the local police couldn't help me. It was the worst experience of my life.
