Highly disagree with the handlebar change! Clip on handlebars are the essence of a cafe racer, cafe racers are not about practicality or comfort! When will people realise that some bikes are not meant as a one size fits all swiss army tool - some bikes will always be specialized to give one aspect. If practicality and comfort is an issue than a cruiser/scrambler should be the Rider's prerogative!
Just 3 things may could be changed.. 1) Handlebar Clip-ons as a Cafe rider 2) That cool looking back mudguard is removed which should be comeback as a optional thing in customisation 3) Headlight system of svatpilen should be added

@@blivinalien3227 heats up pretty fast within 5 km of kolkata city traffic . You can feel the radiation on your legs even face.... The service guys say after 1000 km service this would get little better. Vibrations are there after 6000 rpm, mainly the footpegs vibrate and little bit of handle bars. Suspension seems to be v good but I.ve ridden only in good city roads. Another issue is that I'm a first time rider so I really don't know the benchmark or what to compare the parameters with... waiting for engine heating feedback from other owners..
I fell that the original Vitpilen design had been highly compromised in the search for catering to a larger customer group in India. Cafe Racer is meant to have Clip Ons. The beauty of the original Vitpilen was in its design first philosophy.

Old design was the best ...those rounded meter and clip on handlebar makes a cafe bike a true cafe bike ..this is no more a cafe racer it is uglier now

Its because of people like u that brands softening up their bikes and that sporty edge is missing ..... It's like giving comfortable raised clip ons on a bike like r15 ....it doesn't make sense ....

They can and would go for something like the speed 400 , svartpilien 401 or the Duke 390 .... Some bikes are meant to have a certain character which appeals to the enthusiasts .... With the omission of clip ons, Vitpilen loses its right to be called a cafe racer.
