Great looking bikes. Sure wish Kawasaki would bring back the Vulcan 2000’s (2053 cc) or even a bigger bike. I bought an 07 bran new and have 137,000 miles on it. No engine problems.
Love the 2025 Indian Scouts Line. Can't afford it. For giggles, I went on both websites,, built the bikes I wanted: Scout Bobber $311 / month, Shadow Phantom $145 / month.
After riding sportbikes for more than 20 years, i was looking for something that would suit me better seeing that i am 6 foot 4. I was tired of the cramped riding position and i decided to trade my current bike at the time, a 1999 GSXR1300 Hayabusa, for something a bit more comfortable. I was, however, not about to settle for a lack of power and speed. The M109R was the perfect choice for me at the time, so i bought a brand new one in 2007. Plenty of leg room, power and very nimble despite its size. I rode this bike hard as if i was still riding a sportbike and had an amazing time. I would eventually have to get the engine rebuilt in 2012 after it gave up, no engine compression left and loose timing chains. It cost me a lot of money but i kept riding it until 2021. If you ride this bike like most cruisers it should give you years of enjoyment. I definitely recommend buying it, just don't ride it like i did. 👽🖖🇨🇦
I had an M109, Hayabusa, VMax and many others... Of all my bikes, my favorite two were my 2006 Hayabusa Limited and current 2018 VMax. The M109 was ok but it simply isnt in the same class as my VMax. I do miss my Hayabusa because it was gorgeous, but I have a bad back, so I got rid of it. VMax all the way!!! Not even close!!!!
Busa baby,my 2019 is my choice, it is reliable, sporty, fast, comfortable, and has the power to get you out ahead, plus it's an amazingly beautiful motorcycle design. Great video, all these bikes are designed to fit different rider s comforts👍
i owned an M109r for three years, it was reliable, fun to ride and had a brutal feeling with all that torque, it was surprisingly easy to ride with a very flexible engine, when i sold it i purchased a Harley Davidson, big mistake !! it was crap, it wasn't anywhere near the bike that the M109r was, so, a couple of months later i sold it and bought a Triumph Speed Triple which i consider to be the most fun filled bike i've ever owned ( apart from my CR125R ) it has everything !!
Same in Australia. I have to be looking into second hand ever since I met with an accident on my C50T. It is a write off. No options. Harleys expensive. Disappointed.
There were times in whic every japanese manufacturer had a full and exciting custom line-up (Virago, Shadow, Intruder, Vulcan...). Now they all turned into to sad & grey...
Hello! It's wonderful to ride a motorcycle freely; yesterday I noticed that my Suzuki vz 800 Marauder is leaking liquid from under the engine and I don't have money to fix it...😢😢😢
HI! I watched from France, my preferates japanese cruisers are the Suzuki M109 R and the Honda Fury , the both about their look ( sorry for my mistakes in your language) . I ll become a rider in a few time but in Europe , yhou can't buy a motorbike in fullpower at once but waiting for 2 years in practice 37,5 KWH motorbike or 47;48 HP. Enjoy your rides
Salut Olivier.
@@azmirosman3853 if you can't find the beauty in the Big Dog: Mastiff chopper, or the Paul Yaffey custom chopper: the Phantom, you are are a blind man. The only great looking Japanese cruiser is the Suzuki M 109 R.
I've had probublya dozen shadows but they always cut off while passing big trucks going up hollbut now my 1600 kawasaki nomad is amazing burns more fuel but the power is there when I want its beautiful to
I have a 23 Vulcan 900 custom I do say it is a beautiful bike. However, in my own opinion it is horrible. The braking power that it has is not great and it takes longer than it should to slow it down. For a bike that weighs over 600 lbs it really should have dual brakes upfront and it’s way underpowered for the highways. I have a hard time trying to pass other vehicles due to lack of power. Maybe cuz I’m used to sport bikes and what not but it’s definitely not the bike for me.
600 LBS 272 kilograms! Well. The BMW Muscle Cruiser Motorrad R18 Curb weight 345 kg LBS (Lot of Bull Shit) Globally Asia, Australia, China and Europe we use KG (Kilogram). Don’t worry the World is going4 Metric inch by inch!
Everyone in the Western hemisphere, and the rest of the world, knows that America refers to herself as America and Americans and everyone knows and understands exactly who and what that means. Get the fuck over yourself
M 109R OF COURSE...
Been riding a 2005 Suzuki Boulevard C50T for a number of years now. Dependable, reliable, economical, and a great pleasure.
The M109 Suzuki is a beast.
Bring back the Kawasaki Mean Streak, please! C'mon, Kawasaki, this is one amazing piece of machinery.
No doubt at all The Amazing Suzuki Boulevard M109R it's The Best of all and My favorite Motorcycle!!!, Thanks for sharing!!!
No doubt!
I agree 100%

M109 R By Suzuki, hands down the best foreign bike ever/yet.. Hands down, nuff said.
i have a 2007 Bully M109R.... never had a problem!
i had the black 2008, same, no problems at all in three years of ownership, and i rode it hard !!
Thanks for posting, much appreciated.

Suzuki Boulevard M109R B.O.S.S. Is the best Japanese or American and European in my opinion.😊 I’ve owned them all from each continent.

Vulcan S - My bike !
The Honda Fury
In the UK the only new Japanese cruisers available are the Kawasaki 500 & 650 Vulcan and the Honda 500 & 1100 Rebel.
Same in Australia. I have to be looking into second hand ever since I met with an accident on my C50T. It is a write off. No options. Harleys expensive. Disappointed.
Very nice presentation.
Thanks.
Keep it up.
Their all great and reliable bikes 🏍
Also, I love the M109R, but the 2nd gear issue still makes me nervous. Have the newer models solved this?
Yes they fixed it perfectly, no problems..
I know because I just bought the new one a month ago, I'm enjoying putting many miles on it..
Nope they never fixed it just improved it but it wasn't really fix@user-zk7xn2xx9y
John are the covers around the engine on the M109 all metal or are some painted plastic? Thank you for your response.
All body panels are plastic except for the fuel tank. Owned one from 2007 to 2021.@@razorback6098

when it comes to cruisers , noone does it better than Indian or Harley , japanese can match in tech but not in beauty, bling or heritage❤❤❤
Look up the Big Dog Chopper: The Mastiff, positively a beast and a true beauty.
Well, to me Harley bikes are ugly compared to Japanese cruisers...

Thank you for the quick review. I still think Indian motorcycles are cooler!
Fair enough!
Fury deep in my eyes❤

All are good
Absolutely
Boulevard M109 then Rebel 1100
I'm owner of Rebel but my next one will be M109
The no 1 is totally right
The M109r is an epic beast. But then again, I’m biased.
Kept waiting for Honda Gold wing😅
Thank you Mr.Roboto voice
I'll keep my 107 sportglide thanks
How about a return of the Yamaha Raider S? Seriously, bring it back.
I want that suzuki m109r!
Kawasaki Vulcan 900 classic LT for me
I agree! Better technology, cheaper and more reliable than a Harley.
Yamaha Road Warrior
Honda Magna also best 👍
Toshiba "Handy-book"...😂😂😂
HONDA BAGGER DCT Should be in the list.
THE BEST FROM SUZUKI M109R
quiero que me regalen una de estas motos ¡
I like motorcycles
I miss the Yamaha Roadstar.
Don't understand why Honda does not sell the Shadow Phantom in Europe.
Not on Japanese roads?
When Japanese bikes get broken are there parts and mechanics 😊
this vulcan is not a factory custom by any means
Love my eliminator. Seat could be better though and mirrors are horrible
I'll stick with my 97 Valkyrie
👏🏿👏🏿👏🏿
👍
Yamaha Rider 1900 custom
Raider 1900
M109R is the best

There is no Yamaha VMAX.
Loot at all of the ..... Nope
This is definitely not a good year for Jap cruisers. Thanks to Indian, Harley upped their game and they're just light-years ahead of this crap.
