Make sure u wipe the spool too where u put the oil. it gets super dirty after a while. 9:15
i recently bought the new mach crush baitcaster 2nd gen and there is no lever too open the brake side plate would you know how too ? there isn’t any videos on the internet yet on this reel
I am not sure about that 2nd Gen model. Hopefully with newer products someone will post something about it soon.
Warm water and dish soap works better in the grips cleans them like new

Would wd40 work instead of reel oil
I wouldn’t use wd40 because it is a degreaser and would break down grease and oil.
