I've been missing the Collecting Cars podcasts for the last couple of months, and finally the gang is back together on RUclips. Great stuff guys, looking forward to the next one already!
Thank you so much to you all, for coming back. Hope you continue to enjoy making these for a long time, as it is proven you have very strong following who loves these, in which I proudly include myself. See you in September. Cheers.

I missed this podcast - I'm very glad it's back. I hope you continue to keep things tongue in cheek and very interesting as it always has been and hopefully will be! All I would say is, please continue to point the finger at manufacturers and their associates who you disagree with and not people's life choices. Thanks for the laughs :)
Just watched your J rogan podcast. Chris you sir are a legend and no one i know or discussed the top gear situation ever thought anything ill of you and were all looking forward to your content going forward ! Chris harris on cars is your best work and the best work in proper in car connected to journalism i and all my mates have seen… Charlie. 39years old. Yorkshire. 2 kids and a missus..
How about naming it the "Viva Macchina" Podcast? The wonderful photograph of you enjoying a meal and each others company in Italy sums up the vibe of your podcast. I, for one, have missed it a lot. Roll on September.
Sorry but that's one of the worst name ever heard also because it' means nothing in italian...it's the equivalent of "hurrah car" in english (I'm italian so I guarantee on the translation).
Glad you chaps are back. I've missed you all keeping me company while I work on my car. Re the format, having become thoroughly addicted to the Nurburgring in the last few years, I do very much enjoy Chris & Chris's stories about the place, and general motorsport shenanigans, so more of those please 😊
So happy, best podcast on RUclips can’t wait to see it back full time. Friday night essential viewing for car nerds, enthusiasts and lovers of everything automotive! New podcast name should be….”Lights, Cameras, Traction”
Very glad you returned. I enjoyed your conversation. And you seem to have enjoyed it. Please continue and forget about downtimes out of the blue. Best regards from Germany.
Hurrah and much applause 🙏👍👋👋👋 One of my favourite sayings is 'less is more', these friends chatting is the essence of that. Change nothing, maybe have the occasional guest joining in, but all I need is right here, thank you...
Welcome back guys !!! I've missed you terribly. We've had almost 2 days of terrible storms here in North Central Ohio (10 inches of rain in less than 36 hours) and Bucyrus was without power for almost 10 hours, so, I had to watch this late Friday/early Saturday. IMHO I would NOT have you change anything & most times, it wouldn't bother me if each episode were 3 hours long. P.S. A navy blue 250 would have to be the most beautiful Ferrari ever.
Honestly gents i can't think of anything I'd change in your format. I really appreciate the (perhaps brilliantly engineered?) off the cuff nature of your conversations. Also i follow 300+ youtube channels now and you guys are by far my favourite. Certainly one of the very few I'll set time aside to pay attention to. Great to hear from you again!

Had the second Collecting Cars’n’Coffee in Sydney today. Less than half the turn out and was basically over by 10:00am; not the same vibe. My kids were sad they didn’t get to see you again but remembered exactly where we bumped into you and how friendly you were. Anyway Looks like CC could be also be missing Monkey. Glad to see you’re back on the channel we all love mate. Looking forward to seeing what you have in the future.

Yes, the Ford Puma 'Bullit' commercial with Steve Mcqueen, also the Ford Cougar 'Easy Rider' commercial with Dennis Hopper.. the fact I still remember them says enough
Can’t believe I knew exactly what they were talking about! A video popped up in my RUclips feed yesterday of Jeremy Clarkson reviewing the Puma on OG TopGear, and they included clips of the ad in the review. Steve McQueen’s motorbike from the Great Escape is also sitting in the same garage in the ad ❤
Don't have a name, it can be called Espace 458 Italia and I'd look forward to listing/watching every Friday! The format is perfect. I know y'all are some busy chaps but my only suggestion would be that every other episode be filmed with all of you in person in someone's garage/barn.
At last! Great to see you back Guys. Great choice of music Chris....Neil, you should have played Boys of Summer when you were traversing the 'United States'. One of my all time favourites...the lyrics resonate too. I 'rediscovered' a Robert Plant tune that I had forgotten about, last month. Big Log....fabulous languorous riff, perfect for driving across America to. I commend it to you all.
I live in an automotive enthusiasts hell but thanks to the marvel of technology I can relax with a morning coffee and listen to you chaps talk about things I either have done or wish I had. I can highly recommend visiting the Vulcan Bomber at Doncaster Airport if you like your iconic aircraft. Visited this year and it was great - some great stories and they’re all volunteers. Glad you’re all back gents.
Damn. I've missed this podcast so much. I've been checking my Spotify sub to your channel each day, hoping to see a new episode (sadly, hahah). You never know what you really appreciate and take for granted until it's gone. My regular routine was going on a Sunday morning drive in my little Fiesta ST150 (it's all I can afford) and listening to that week's podcast. Sunday's are the only time I get a chance to drive as I catch the bus to work 6 days a week. It's my happy place & escape! I'm glad that you guys are all well and I'm looking forward to tearing up some backroads in my Fiesta with a group of mates on Sunday's going forwards again. Welcome back & have a top weekend guys! 🍺
You literally make this podcast worthwhile. The ST150 is an absolute gem, btw. Chris H understands hot hatches like no one else on the planet and I am 100% sure he'd agree. Many thanks for listening - and for the comment!
@@ManishPandey-ju1vn Thanks for the reply Manish! I'm really happy that you guys are all happy and healthy. Surely the gem that was thrown out by Amazon for the grand tour is ripe for the taking… ‘gear knobs’ 😂 seriously though - amazing to have you 4 back, missed Manish’s cerebral take on things a lot, and the rest of your chaotic podcasting. I’d say don’t change a sausage (other than maybe having local podcast quality sound recording for each of you to dub over the zoom room audio) 👍 maybe consider guest podcasters (yes, me please!!) but that’s about it. Live recordings like Concours were good too! ❤
Great to see you back again 😁. The debates are brilliant, the emotions are epic and most of all you will cheer up Fridays!! At some point maybe a brief outline of what happened would be nice. Shame for a complete episode without mentioning Manish’s Ferrari 🤔
Thank you so much for persevering and continuing the pod. Have deeply missed hearing from you all. Love that the routine will be back in September. Thanks guys
Great to see you guys back. being of a similar vintage with similar interests its a joy to hear you again. As we are the same age and the Pod normally dropped on Friday how about an imitation of Chris's old Pal.. As we all feel it TGIF or TFIF.
Hey guys, love that you're back! Would be stellar if you could put it on a platform like Spotify so I could listen to it in the Car, sadly RUclips can't do audio only easily with my cars
Great to see you back and hearing your voices and tales. Chris, you asked for suggestions re format etc, how about nominating a car from a particular decade, maybe from 2 categories and talking amongst yourselves what you think of them re style, performance, looks etc. Anyhow, love the format as it is, like I say, just great to hear you guys again! Bring on Sept!
I haven't even watched this yet but it's wonderful to see you handsome barstards back! I'll miss Ed's completely unrelatable anecdotes of his childhood but onward and upward! Let's not disappear again... You're appreciated more than you know. EDIT - After watching the episode, excellent as expected! Just on the Capri debacle; We all questioned how manufacturers would manage to give electric vehicles a soul or personality, and it seems Ford's answer is to take a much loved name which stirs passion and sentimentality, and stick it on a bland, generic EV and think we're all stupid enough to fall for it. It's such lazy and insulting product design. The EV revolution has only just started and I'm already done with these endless generic vehicles. Kudos to brands like Hyundai who are trying to make unique fun cars for motoring enthusiasts but many of the others are doing an awful job. I'm sure it'll get better... We can but hope!
The airshow thread brought back great memories of the drought Summer Of 76. I had a holiday job loading punters into Jet Rangers for 90sec pleasure flights. Our biggest event was Church Fenton airshow where we took three 206As. We could only operate between the flying displays which meant we had the perfect seats right next to the runway. Still remember the Vulcan doing it's thing even though I used to see them everyday doing their Cold War sorties in the low fly zone east of Leeds #goodolddays
OMG, I've missed you guys. My suggestion having watch all the pod casts is, don't change anything! Only suggestion is for the new name "How much faster would that have been if Chris was driving" 🙂
Mid afternoon, sipping on single malt and the new Kettle Asian Chilli Beef crisps... is an odd mix, but it works much like these 4 likley lads!! Great to see you guys all back and entertaining.
So glad that you are all back. I have missed listening to you 4. The chemistry is even better with 4 rather than 5. I have of course been listening to the back catalogue. I remember you being unsure of the title of "Collecting Addicts". Perhaps "Chris Harris and Friends" will stay as the title?
Correcting Cars. A new segment each week where you pick a flawed car and debate what would improve it. Also delighted to see the band back together. Roll on September.

Great to see you back again 😁. The debates are brilliant, the emotions are epic and most of all you will cheer up Fridays!! At some point maybe a brief outline of what happened would be nice. Shame for a complete episode without mentioning Manish’s Ferrari 🤔
Love it! Get Richard Tuthill on, he’d be amazing
Thank you so much for persevering and continuing the pod. Have deeply missed hearing from you all. Love that the routine will be back in September. Thanks guys
LET'S GO!!!! as usual... great content from this group. You do have to find a name for the podcast.
Great to see you back...
Brilliant to see you back. Please release future episodes on a Podcast version!
All is now right with the world. Thank you Chris and team 🙏🏽😎
I love the show just the way it is. Glad you're coming back!!!!
So happy to have this podcast back in my life.
Format is brilliant - cast is brilliant - don't change for changes sake! Been waiting patiently for your return!
Easily my favorite automotive podcast
The boys are back in town
Great to see you guys back. being of a similar vintage with similar interests its a joy to hear you again. As we are the same age and the Pod normally dropped on Friday how about an imitation of Chris's old Pal.. As we all feel it TGIF or TFIF.
OMG I’ve missed this!!!!! Thank you for bringing it back!
Hey guys, love that you're back! Would be stellar if you could put it on a platform like Spotify so I could listen to it in the Car, sadly RUclips can't do audio only easily with my cars
So glad to have you guys back, in the same Friday slot as well and the sun is shining, what more can you ask for!?
The legends are back! I’m looking forward to more of your classic content Chris. Best of luck to you all. ❤️👍🍀
So great to have you all back. Love the podcast, no need to change a thing, I look forward to listening to you all every Friday. Thank you!
Bloody delighted you guys are back, can’t wait for my hour every week away from the grind. ♥️
Awesome to have you all back, brightening every weekend in the Alps. Thank you! Suggest “Driving to nowhere”.
We love you guys and couldn’t be happier we are back
These 4 are the BEST thing on the internet hands down!
What a great start to the day. Can't wait for it become a regular thing again.
It's been a good day here in Bristol, and it's just got so much better
Welcome Back Chaps.
Welcome back guys. We missed you. Cant wait for all the stories and chats we will hear from september on. Great to have you back.
I’m so happy y’all are back!
“The Addicts” has a ring to it… Please continue the segment where you recommend RUclips videos.
Awsome 🤘. Chris is back on he's channel. I can't wait for more videos. Let's get the show on the road.
Great show guys! Glad you’re back, thoroughly enjoyed hearing what you’ve been up to! 😃
For what it’s worth my name suggestion is Auto Addicts.
Mid afternoon, sipping on single malt and the new Kettle Asian Chilli Beef crisps... is an odd mix, but it works much like these 4 likley lads!!
Great to see you guys all back and entertaining.
You guys don't know how happy this makes us
So glad that you are all back. I have missed listening to you 4. The chemistry is even better with 4 rather than 5. I have of course been listening to the back catalogue. I remember you being unsure of the title of "Collecting Addicts". Perhaps "Chris Harris and Friends" will stay as the title?
You could just call it the ‘Car Addicts’ podcast
This is a logical suggestion
Correcting Cars. A new segment each week where you pick a flawed car and debate what would improve it.
Also delighted to see the band back together. Roll on September.
Amazing pod. Can’t wait to see more.
Also, loved the car reviews done with Chris and Neil in the past, so more of anything you all want to do with cars is great!
Thank you all for doing this podcast again. Listening to you guys became part of my Friday routine and it made me feel great to be a petrolhead!
