2:23 May 11. My grandpa was a huge tiger fan, as am I. This was the last game the Tigers played while he was alive. As he laid in his hospital bed dying, surrounded by family, this game is on the tv. We all knew it would be the only thing he would want to watch. He rarely missed a game; if ever. This will be a moment that I never forget. In a game amongst bottom feeders in possibly the worst division in the MLB, this game mattered to almost nobody. Just those of us in that hospital room. Even with all of the unexpected success throughout the season for the Tigers, this moment means the most to me without a doubt
30 game improvement over 2019. Let that sink in. From 47-115 to 77-85. THIRTY GAME IMPROVEMENT. Tork and Green are going to be big in 2022, but for me, 2023 is looking like a potential re-hash of 2006. The future looks VERY bright for the Tigers.
I'm right with you: 2021 was a TREMENDOUS turn-around from the previous four seasons. Imagine if that 3-18 stretch hadn't happened: 7-14 would've given us a .500 season, for example.
Can't wait for next year. Idk about green but we will be seeing torkelson next year. And if we get Correa through free agency they will be good next year
Lets hope Avilla and Illitch are willing to use their heads for once and spend some money. They are literally so close. Just sign a SS, Correa, and build up the bullpen and rotation. They are right there.
Can't wait until next season I am hoping and praying the Tigers can get Carlos Correa and some decent pitching also I cannot wait to see Riley Greene and Spencer Torkelson but that might be in 2023
We have decent pitching, just we need a better bullpen. Funkhouser messed up that save a couple days ago and we don't have soto for the rest of the year so...
@@zydeco_ that's what I meant when I said decent pitching we need a bullpen our rotation was decent without Boyd and Turnbull even though Matt Manning wasn't good but he was just a rookie so I am giving him time
2023 looks like it's going to be a magical season for sure. Sure, Miggy's going to retire soon, but something else is clear: The future looks VERY bright!

I feel so bad for you
No matter what I love this team. ❤🐅
Awesome!
14:15 one of the most exiting calls
Turnbull's no hitter was beautiful.
I had so much hope after this season
Sillsy hit a home run with this banger
How epic would it be if Verlander came back next year, and him and Miggy lead us to a World Series win in their final seasons
Would literally be a dream come true
Miggy has one more year after next though
That would be so special, I'd be moved to tears fs

@@thegiftedgold1820 no we won't

I can’t handle another year of Shep
Honestly! Looking back at the year, he tried to jinx Turnbull's no-no and that Daz Cameron HR call against the White Sox is just awful
This video just showed how awful the Bally Sports broadcast team is lmao
Akil is nuts

Tork and Greene will definitely be up next year barring injury.

Tigers are a playoff team for sure
Correa can make this team look so good next year, for me he is the best shortstop in the game
Adding Correa instantly makes us playoff contenders
@@SillsyPresents If detroit adds correa this will be a team battling with the white Sox for a playoffs spot, correa is a beast
Hoping for the brewers tigers ws ive been waiting for
Just curious. Where do you get the radio calls for these highlights?
Playoff run for sure next season! Let gooooo
