This might be my favourite drawfee comp yet, they joke around a lot but they really are so talented and when they are passionate about an idea they get so entertainingly creative! Very wholesome.
I thought the joke here was going to be that it was just Nathan popping off and I was fully prepared to see a sea of "Can we all take a moment to appreciate Nathan's growth as an artist?" in the comments

I love when they try new things, or do stuff like limited colour palettes etc, its probably my fave type of video. It brings out something new in them all and I love both the problem solving and the "oh shit im really good at this"
Two of nathan's pop offs that are missing here are his space jaws from the one where they redesigned movie posters, and his cat bus in their artist draw studio ghibli as dark souls. Karina also popped off in the ghibli episode with here yubaba. Also let us never forget jacob's week of backgrounds. That was really cool and admirble. I also know its a mem, but karinas consistant ability to make sonic during the shape challenges is genuinely very impressive
aint no way there wasn't a single part of Karina's childhood interests collages in here, every single one was a banger(especially the Girls one imo) (anyway this compilation is really good, thank you for this wonderful meal)
That episode changed me. Something about being so unapologetic about your interests and broadcasting the vulnerability to the world? Absolute power move. I've wanted all three of those works as art prints/posters because the absolute inspiration.
Thank you for this!!! I love drawfee so much but not just because they're so silly goofy, but they're also my BIGGEST inspirations to push myself in my creative mediums and have fun with it even if i fail. Watching drawtectives gave me the push I needed to finish a full patchwork sweater i made for my best friend. It took 9 months and I was losing steam, but seeing how much work and time julia put into making drawtectives and how much she clearly loves it was so wonderful to see. Also their whole 'delete your art' thing helped me stick to my decision of not cutting any corners on my project. I wanted it to be GOOD. I wanted to actually be happy and proud of what I created, and I'm happy to say that i was once it was all over!
It's kind of an honor appreciating them when it comes to fan edits, as a fellow artist that looks up to them and their work. I guarantee you that I wouldn't have gone through my own creative endeavors if it wasn't for art youtubers (including drawfee) so hearing that they inspired you in a similar way is wonderful.
Nice comp, love watching them absolutely pop off. My favorite one (it isn’t in here) but when Karina for the Valentines Day video spent 10+ (?) hours drawing for a Yugioh ship

I get so hyped when Nathan draws animals or dinos. He’s just really really good at them
His childhood art redrawn delight me, so cool to see "I'm 10 and I like animals :)" evolve into "I'm 35 and I like animals, check this shit out :)"
As a fellow animal lover and artist, I can only aspire to have that level of anatomy. Nathan animals always hit different.
