We need more analog horror like this! It reminds me of the OG analog horror series like Gemini, Surreal Broadcast, Local58, Minerva Alliance, and Analog Archives! subbed!
Eh, it's great and all, but I'd much rather unconventionality and seeking a personal style Edit: That's not an attack or indictment on this video at all, but analogue horror in general. The oversaturation is palpable and boring.
This is a simple analog horror. You can see they are just starting out so I won’t be too rough. This was really well done anyway. In the end I’m not sure if the pilot was praying or proclaiming that what we were hearing was some sort of, “God”. In the end though, I enjoyed it and was a little nervous at some points. The red eyes and last jumpscare were kind of cliche but overall this does play with the darkness of deep ocean water.
The deep sea is the perfect fodder for creating a new analog horror. I'm so glad I found this, so I liked and subbed and hope for more. Thank you, Chilling Abyss!
The best analog horror channels are always so difficult to find, and I'm SO happy I found this. I love how the fear is layerd and not explicit, and you really get the chance to think about what you're seeing. This is genuinley so entertaining, and I hope you make more like this. Keep it up man, I'd really like to see where this takes you
I personally love this but the two glowing red eyes are a bit disappointing to me. I preferred the entity to be formless and incomprehensible the eyes make it too familiar. Don't get me wrong tho I hope ur ok with this criticism and that it's reasonably constructive because I do think this piece is well made and I think if you continue your work will keep getting better and I'd really like to see that.
really interesting to me to see the evolution of the videos, so much improvement to the quality and execution following this video that it makes it feel more intentional in all its horror. they're transmitting through an interdimensional hole in the bottom of the ocean so to me, that moving object looks more like screen distortion in the static in the shape of a skull, since the scary face is there after the feed cuts off! it's like a pattern screamer invading! amazing stuff!
this didnt really give me the feeling we were actually watching an ocean exploration, it feels like there wasnt a whole lot of build up, i watched alot rov videos and deep ocean exploration vids and i honestly wasnt super impressed by this. i feel like having real voice narration/voice acting could have sold the scare better?
I may be biased but I loved it! I’m a sucker for the deep ocean and it’s a shame we don’t have many analogue horror series about it. Admittedly the jumpscare was a bit cheap, but it wasn’t bad, imo (and that’s coming from someone who usually hates jumpscares) Very good work!!!
I'd like for one of these days that someone would make an actually format-realistic analog horror, which would look & behave exactly like this stuff. I've shown all these serieses to people before since the first ones 5 years ago, that vividly remember the intermissions and programs like what the creators try to portray of how it was in the 60s - 90s, and all unanimously say that this stuff looks nothing like how it'd actually play out. This is talking about the format reality across the full genre. Not saying that this series is in anyways bad as a story.
A lot of frustrating analog horror tropes here, jumpscares, needlessly ambiguous photos with vague text, ect. Wish you the best and success, not coming from a negative place
Yeah they could've left that out and just had it say "god" and go silent before the video ends. No eyes or weird sounds. Otherwise I really enjoyed the video

@michelecastellotti9172 Check out Tapes from The Darksife as well! It's made by the same creator after Minerva was cancelled
Just subscribed to every single channel!! Thank you very much!

Real undersea horror is hearing the hull buckle from pressure...

I think I know why the algorithm started recommending this

Very good work!!!
That design and movement of the monster reminds me of Spooky's Jumpscare Mansion
Was this an eye test for super dark environment?
Interesting
this is what actually happened to the titan submersible
If they thought land dwellers hate billionaires then just wait until they meet what’s in the ocean 😈

Wow is all I can say
The jump scare at the end is very cheap.
yeah i think leaving out the red eyes would have been more effective
I guess the creator was trying to get us distracted that time. Gotta give him some credit at least, right? I don't know really
Yeah they could've left that out and just had it say "god" and go silent before the video ends. No eyes or weird sounds. Otherwise I really enjoyed the video
Yeah, an absence of jumoscares is what makes most analog horrors so good they leave you with uneasiness without the need for cheap jumpscares
@@michelecastellotti9172*jumpscares
Quite the bullshit but still funny.
