This series is underrated as hell, and it is incredible for many reasons, but for me, prime among them is that this kind of threat is not unrealistic. The dark forest hypothesis is the central theme here. Those who come out on top in their worlds are predators, and they will consume us if they can. Humans could end up doing the same one day if we develop enough. It's better for everyone if we all just hide.

I haven't seen an Analogue Horror with such a great script in a long time. The story, the plot progression, the imagery and not to mention the voice acting! It checks out all the boxes, 5/5 for me

This is the first time i've seen one of these analog channels aknowledge the horrors they broadcast and try to cover it up

Let me tell you a story, from a dream I had 4 years ago. A dream that lasted 14 hours in real life and 3 days inside it. A lucid dream, about a land known as Arcadia. When I woke up inside the dream, I was in a world of magic, not any "world of magic". THE World Of Magic. A game, I liked playing 4 years ago. I was in the desert. In a place that does not exist in the game. There was a door, made of darkness magic, it was closed. I was a level 400 +- mage, with 4 magic types: Water, Earth, Lightning and Life. In the game it was equal to being a walking nuke, that can not be killed. By extension of imagination, I was in control of everything in all living matter. Even viruses. The moment I saw the door, I was consumed by it. Neither my flight, nor my magic assisted me. My power to level a large city meant nothing, against the pull. When I awoke, I knew, I was no longer in a dream about a game. I was in a dream about something else. Something more... unrestrained. I became a ghost without a body, wandering the destroyed city of Sochi. Though, here it was called, The Capital. The whole Earth became a nation called "Arcadia". It was a land of Magic and Science. I can not recall anything else from that dream. All I can say is... Arcadia did not occupy Earth. The Earth was a representation of "the whole humanity". By the end of my dream... only a-about a thousand to ten thousand humans were alive. Everything else was gone, sucked in, by that black door, forever lost, to the unknown.
