put that mic in his hands there will genius fill the room, all bow down to the vocal master,he is so humble it brings me to tears,so i'll brag for him,the GREAT LOUIS GRAMMATICO
Damn, I always loved Lou, but I never realized he was actually as good as Robert Plant. One of the Foreigner shows I saw they went into Whole Lotta Love in the middle of Juke Box Hero and it was the most awesome experience.
I was wondering who was playing drums. That's a tribute part - he nails Bonham note for note, almost brings Bonzo back to life. He's an amazing drummer - I saw him on the Ringo tour in the 90s, he did a killer solo. And with the Who at the Superbowl, he was the only player who did justice to the original Who, and I'm talking about Mr Moon - no one has ever copped his style better. Zak could make a good living selling career extension insurance to aging classic drummers!
This is a great cover. Lou is playing this Friday at the local tribal casino. In a podunk little town that i live in. If you would have told me back in 1978 -79 that Lou Gramm was coming to my little town ever i would had said you were crazy. Here is the kicker which i cannot believe he is NOT the headliner. Guess who he has to open up for which just makes me sick to my stomach. Any guesses? Rick Springfield. Mr. One hit wonder (ok 3 hits) Rick Springfield headlining for frontman of Foreigner
@@bradchervel5202 LOL Yeah, right - he can't hit the high notes that Plant could in his prime, and his phrasing and delivery is also off on parts of this song. Lou is a great hard rock singer, but Plant is the best ever.

@LesSmith45 That is so SAD! after reading your comment. Sure broke my heart that my all time best Vocals of Rock Lou Gramm open up for Rick Springfield? you sure about that! i can't believe Lou would stoop down that low is that desperate or WHAT!
Sorry Lou, this big leg woman got lots of soul...hahaha Love Lou, he is one of the best, Robert Plant is not that bad either after all he is 66 years old and Jimmy Page is 70

yeah this great. can he still sings today?
Hell yeah he can
substitute Honey for Heartache...
Swap the micing/mix of the bass drum and snare drum and you have a winner.
Excellent. However, Robert Plant had a bit more swing in his phrasing.
What year was this recorded..?
1997.
Like shortly before he got sick from the brain tumor.

Gotta pay the bills...
Gia Baez ...No... you're the one who is desperate! Who needs a fan like you?
Gia Baez wtf? Rick Springfield is an amazing writer and performer. You better study up dude.
Don't Talk to strangers,is a work of art,RICK could never topple that song,he is perfect on it,damn skippy
Is this a Foreigner recording or a solo one?
Solo, with Zakk Wylde playing the guitar.
