Miley Cyrus mentioned in an interview with Lars Ulrich how much she and her band have enjoyed covering her old material with a rock sound. Miley and these three band members are quite close; footage from her concert in Brazil shows her crying when thinking about the death of Taylor Hawkins and how she would feel if she lost one of her band members. I am glad to see them all enjoying themselves here.
My favorite thing about this is that it potentially introduces a younger audience to the greatness of Zeppelin.

@@ozgurozdemir4527 Man Miley is struggling a bit, but it's just not true that Plant can still sing this song. He hasn't been able to sing the original melody to Black Dog since the early 70s. By 1973 he could no longer hit the high Es.

She has a real raspy voice which is basically the go to voice for singing hard rock.

Until today Wrecking Ball was the only song I knew by Miley Cyrus. RUclips algorithm brought me Flowers, a pop hit that came from the seventies through successive transformations following Lavoisier Law (lol). And suddenly, in the corner of the screen there was Zombie, Maybe, Heart of Glass and now Black Dog and many others. This the best rock and pop female performance and voice I have seen for many, many years. Just incredible. So great! What a delightful surprise!

Hoping she might do a cover of ACDC's Highway to Hell at some point, her vocals and stage presence are a perfect match for that song and it would be an epic performance 🎸

What a absolute pure talent, unbelievable! Black Dog is probably my favourite Led Zeppelin song. It's just an awesome piece of music with, perhaps, the sexiest guitar riff of all time. I love the fact that the title of the song was inspired by a dog that kept wandering in and out of the studio when they were in the process of making Led Zeppelin IV; you've got to admire the spontaneity and serendipity of it.
Ps: Miley is a talent and a great singer. She nailed it and made it her own. Commendable.

I saw her Dad play in the Bars in Huntington WV 1990 before he was famous. This was the first song I saw Billy Ray play. Incredible. He was the closest thing to Elvis I ever saw. And I saw Elvis live. The women lost their minds when Billy Ray hit the stage. And Black stretch spandex hit the Stock market. Pants, shorts, Skirts you name it.
