As a Brit, a) it's of course crazy, but b) I thought the whole initial logic behind gun ownership in America was the whole 'stop the King of England coming over and taking control' idea. I.e. permitting citizens power without the establishment. The whole land of the free, not wanting the government to control every aspect kind of thing? Wouldn't arming public servants with weapons in a public building be the exact opposite of that? They're talking in circles and just making the case against guns whichever way they slice it. There is no way that teachers with guns doesn't sound like a police state. They're now so illogical they've inadvertently rendered the gun debate redundant.
Half Japanese woman here🙋♀️ giving my pov living in a red state in the Midwest. When COVID 1st hit,my late Japanese mom was sick with cancer and we were checking her in for a procedure. The check in lady took one look at us and loudly asked when was the last time we visited China. WTF, she's Japanese, not Chinese. I replied "Wrong Asian " the check in lady rolled her eyes and said "she can't tell bcz all of "you guys" look alike ".

My son just started teaching at a middle school in Nebraska, they set up a safety box that only two people can access the gun with a fingerprint. So one of the two people will have to be by the box at the right time for this to even work. Our govt. has completely failed to protect our school children.

I am a woman in Indiana and I understand where you are in your feelings. I do small videos on my prepper channel to talk about the subjects no one in my area cares about. Hostage of my state with no resolution to the issues that are of importance.

I know it's hard but it requires us nipping it in the bud; the bigots think that because it's not illegal then they can do it without consequence. While we don't arrest them for it, we can make them uncomfortable when they do it - say something or just roll your eyes and let them know that not everybody is on the trump train.
