In this video I'll be making a 9 inch Gyuto Chef Knife for a Charity auction. The proceeds from this blade will benefit less fortunate children during the Holiday season. This blade is constructed from 360 layer damascus with an African blackwood/Stabilized Birch handle and includes a curly Maple Saya. I hope you enjoy this build. Beautiful blade! What is the handle material? I just used that type of wood and don't know what it is.
