Majority in Indonesia are born in Muslim family. Usually they go to educational place called TPA (Taman Pendidikan Al-Qur'an) after regular school.
While religion was teached in regular school, but most parents also sent their children to this TPA (about 2/3 hours session) for extra lessons in Islam. All of your questions was basic knowledge for TPA student and that's why Abdul Gani easily answer them. 🙏
We get knowledge about Islamic religion from parents, kindergartens and high schools. Islamic religious lessons are given in every government or private school.
The archipelago now known as Indonesia has embrace Islam since 12th century, so our Islam knowledge is no less than others and the Islam faith is in our blood for centuries.

My grand children (3 and 5 years ) have started to memorize Al Qur'an and hadits. So many children in the elementary school have memorize the whole Al Qur'an. Even the pages and the lay out of the Qur'an they know exactly.
The Islam history is a story telling before the children sleep.
So no wonder Indonesian know about Islam.

Alhamdulillah. Actually even a kindergartner in Indonesia mostly know those answers, because almost every children went to TPA (an islamic preschool). The challenge is to have Islam as a way of life, because right now every single toddlers and also mothers engage to socmed, esp TikTok so we kinda forgetting to get a good islamic education and to do ibadah😢.
kalau anak TKA TPA gausah disebut, pinteran mereka dari kita (saya) kalo soal agama. mereka apal semua tu doa2 penting sehari2 yg sama kita suka diabaikan. alhamdulillah generasi penerus lebih baik dari sebelumnya ya.

Indonesia as 2024 the 2nd muslim population in the world after Pakistan. Close to India at around 220million Muslim.
Indonesia NOT a Muslim country although there is a province in Indonesia which is Aceh that practice Muslim Law (Syariah). Aceh is the nearest place from Mecca which is believed the Sahabah or Chaliphate Rasyidin expand Islam to Indonesia. That is why Aceh is named also the Mecca Terrace (entry of Mecca).
To be honest, not all Indonesian Muslim practice Islam as well as adequate knowledge of Islam. Most school do give basic knowledge and learning practice of Islam, but as people grow up, more information and culture wnter their mind thus shayton wispering them bad thoughts so some Muslim eventually (sigh) didn't practice Islam well. Some not even 5 times prayer. But I believed it happened in every country even the middle East.
But... Indonesia people do known for the hospitality to foreigners. The root of Islam since early day (even since the Prophet Muhammad era) had make good manner (in some situations).
Capital growth may not be high, but the living cost is minimal. Basic salary roughly at 300USD. One meal more or less just 1USD. Gasoline and Petrol at 1USD/litter. Guest you can imagine the salary vs outcomes in average.
Alhamdulillah... with around 17K Islands, Indonesia is huge... so many natural resources. Just need a good government and system that care to the people.
Overall central java Indonesia is most quiet city/region in indonesia.. and for US/european people they very like with Jogja/solo, cause the people, culture and nature..
In indonesia we have 'Pesantren' special school to learn everything bout Islam, from elementary untiil hight/university.. which the students stay/lifein pesantren until they finish study, cau u imagine that
