Yessss! Not sure how to go about my issue though. Imported my model into Blender and applied a Bevel shader for micro filleta. I need to find a way to apply that and render it out but it probably means me unwrapping etc first before taking it into Instamat. Is it always best practise to make a low poly of a CAD model and bake a high poly?
Whether or not you need a low poly is based on the needs of the situation. The bevel shader in blender is just part of the cycles render engine it doesn't actually effect the geo so won't be visible outside of blender, you can use the bevel modifier and apply it when exporting if you need to have it as part of your geo
