1st time on this channel and appreciate the review! I am not a fan of these tail lights so I will stick to my stock 5th gens till something really calls 2 me like my new GTR headlights I installed a few weeks ago...they are the best headlights out! So bright and clean looking 💯💯
Haha yeah I have heard the stock for those has been nuts. They had the only ones left in their Moore expo booth when I was there. The Diode Dynamics booth was across from them. Those are cool too.
I wish you had backed up and shown both when you had one of each installed. In my mind, it would have been a better comparison than just toggling back and forth between the lights. IMHO
Surprised to see it was these. On the forums this brand has a bad rep for not responding to warranty issues. I do like the look but avoided them and got alpha rex.
@@OverlandEngineer Perhaps they are wrong i still like the looks of them. My stocks were getting moisture in them and the dealership was being a pain so I just replaced those with the alpharex. Best of luck with them.

I'd like to do something similar in my 4th gen.
I dont like the style of them but its been about 4 months since i ordered my alpha rex tail lights so anything is an improvement at this point

What if you run the antenna wire through the bottom portion of the tail light opening and run a "drip loop?"

I hadn’t heard that before! I think longest warranty with best coverage. Customer service I suppose is part of the warranty discussion.

4Runner TRD Pro LR owner…….What do you prefer for headlights? Morimoto? Alpha? GTR?
Depends on what look you want. They all have different DRLs and output.
The lights are nice, except for the turn signal. The turn signals look like they are too slow.
When you want your 4Runner to have that Chevy Trailblazer taillight vibe.
lol. those are fugly! these aren't that bad. not a fan of the oval brake lights, but i got these anyway.
Not a fan of the Morimoto tails, I like Alphas way better
