Once respected as the Demon Realm's second greatest authority, the Demon King's aide, Jahy, ruled her subjects with fear. But when a magical girl attacks and destroys a mystic gem containing massive power, the Demon Realm is destroyed. Although she survives, Jahy has lost almost all of her powers and finds herself stranded in the human world with a childlike appearance. In order to gather more mystic gems so that she can permanently restore both her original form and the Demon Realm, Jahy will have to adjust to her new life and deal with everyday problems that she has never experienced before. From working to pay for living expenses to arguing with her landlord whenever her rent is late, the great Jahy will not be discouraged!

My current theory is that the Dark Lord is in some way an aspect of Jahy. Only Jahy can understand her, talks only to Jahy, they share a lot of traits, Jahy said that the Dark Lord is basically the manacrystals... It wouldn't surprise me if Jahy unconsciously created the Dark Lord so she can evade the responsiblity of ruling the realm, while keeping the perks - being second in command.

I don't necessarily think the mastermind is bad since good things have come from the destruction of the dark realm. Jahy is becoming a better person, Magical Girl has friends and none of the damage to the Dark Lord was permanent.
The thing that surprised me was that the Demon Lord wasn't her neighbor. I guess that mystery is never going to be solved lol XD.
Also, ya seems the Demon Lord and Jahy are two peas in a pod. Both are easily enticed by food. No wonder they were seemingly best buds in the dark realm.
With all that said, I was actually fairly surprised by Jahy this episode too and how she handled the Magical Girl. I didn't quite expect her to essentially hold out her hand to her like that and say she will give her what she never had, and take away her misfortunes. I might have mistook Jahy for a hero in that moment.
The characters in this anime form this bizarre sort of simp ladder with each other.
I'm curious how Druj is going to treat the Demon Lord. As far as I know everyone in the demon realm actually bowed to Jahy. I bet some of them didn't even believe that the Demon Lord existed.
"I'm pretty sure that's regurgitated tako from the takoyaki." Nah, the manga has a panel where the takoyaki tray is sitting there with the little octopus bits from all of them sitting in there, implying Maou-sama only ate the outside. I guess she doesn't like octopus and/or she saved them for Jahy.
Why do i get the feeling that the big, evil mastermind behind the destruction of the Dark Realm was the Dark Lord herself - maybe through boredom or because of food lol
You got a point there. To be honest dont you think that the crystal was too easy to destroy. Its like she wanted to let it be destroyed. Why else would she be in her house. But what about Druji. If she is able to come back a little based on the many supplies of crystals then why the hell didnt she land at Druji's place where she had a shit ton of crystals.
I think it's really to bring all these people (Landlady, Boss, Druj, Jahy, Magic Girl and Blue haired whatshername) together. It's obvious the "Dark Realm" doesn't mean EVIL per se (Jahy at her WORST is more selfish and haughty then evil) so it wouldn't surprise me if the "Dark Lord" was also the one who contacted my cute lil Jingu Magical Girl. Maybe "Balance in the Force" or something like that. And maybe she likes Jahy and wants her to learn some lessons about friendship and humans and such. Just a theory. I've never read the manga and I don't even know if its finished yet.

I was super excited when I heard Jahy's voice. I was like ... Satania! It's like getting a full series where the MC is Satania. Instant favorite lol.
