Garen is a champ that, no matter how many times I lose games, no matter how badly I might be doing at any point in the game, I am always having a damn good time. He is just so much fun.

I haven't played him in awhile but I'm interested to see if going tri force into full crit would actually be viable because that was a super fun build before the item rework.
I remember once Riot wanted to make Gnar a jungler, and I would love that so much because I'm a JG main, but Gnar is my favorite character to play with, so it would be awesome
@@phaeste agree, I tried him when he received a specific JG buff, but I found out that his passive healing is not quite enough for JG, you have to kite perfectly, and even then is hard to gank without having rage form near completion
Used to play Garen Jungle before he got tuned for it, and the funniest thing was imagining this random beefcake yelling and bumrushing the enemy. It's an intimidation power move.

This also applies with Viego and Talon jungle he turns INTO you has all of that Lethality and any armor pen items and then can JUMP walls like you can...I mention this because right now I'm actually spamming Talon jungle now while it might not be as CHEESE as Garen jungle it still works..and you can STILL steal objectives...
Fyi if you get a collector from levels 6-10 your ult will kill squishy at 30% hp and tanks around 20% hp. Than at 11 and up they equalize at 15% to both with your ult, tanks go back up to 20% when they have max items. Weird interactions with garden's ult but it's a must buy imo!
I had a 100% winrate on garen jungle over like 7 or 8 games or something in season 11 building shieldbow and taking ghost, and it was so amazing to finally have agency in my games. If I wanted to climb, I could have continued to abuse him. Instead I chose to suffer and play adc.

ok personally my build for crit garen is prowlers essence reaver collector IE LDR with swifty or berserkers runes are DH or predator with triumph and the one that makes you do more damage the lower they are, this is a really fun build any you guys should definitely try it, (best in mid or jg not so much it top)
My offmeta pick for jungle is Quinn. You gotta be careful till you get to level 6 like eve. But once you get your ult your farming and ganking at unreal speeds

"Nobody understands how much damage Garen does" has been true for years and that's why I've never stopped playing him. He has *never* failed to do good damage while being insanely tanky just from one ability let alone items. People try to tell me Garen isn't good, then I proceed to win every single game I play with him where I'm not hard-countered. And for some reason, people think Teemo counters Garen, even though blinding and slowing Garen doesn't matter and Garen's tankiness has weirdly never changed so even the burstiest burst damage doesn't matter to him the second he hits W. I have literally *never* lost a matchup to Teemo as Garen, I *always* waffelstomp that mushroom dispenser out of his own lane the whole game. Maybe the jungle would be a different story but the last time I saw someone pick Jungle Teemo, someone else dodged the game. (It wasn't me, but it would have been if someone else didn't do it, because that's the only responsible action to take.)

I usually galeforce into deadmans with merc treads pred garen jung. You can do literally anything you want from that point

"Nobody understands how much damage Garen does" has been true for years and that's why I've never stopped playing him. He has *never* failed to do good damage while being insanely tanky just from one ability let alone items.
People try to tell me Garen isn't good, then I proceed to win every single game I play with him where I'm not hard-countered. And for some reason, people think Teemo counters Garen, even though blinding and slowing Garen doesn't matter and Garen's tankiness has weirdly never changed so even the burstiest burst damage doesn't matter to him the second he hits W. I have literally *never* lost a matchup to Teemo as Garen, I *always* waffelstomp that mushroom dispenser out of his own lane the whole game. Maybe the jungle would be a different story but the last time I saw someone pick Jungle Teemo, someone else dodged the game. (It wasn't me, but it would have been if someone else didn't do it, because that's the only responsible action to take.)
