Awww, thank you! This on code was so timely for me, a storm took out the cable so I couldn’t watch my shows but I could watch this new episode chock full of so much good content! Thank you!! Looking forward to the next one! 😁
Hopefully your power is back. Thanks for watching!
The black toy company was actually named Shindana Toy Company out of LA. My niece and I owned a Shindana doll named Baby Nancy, and when I started selling black dolls at the doll and teddy shows, all the people wanted to buy her. In the doll collectors world black dolls are more expensive because they are considered rare.
I hate that I said the name wrong more than once 😩. Thanks for the correction!
@@ALove4Me No Problem ♥♥
Ma'am. You have such an accessible professorial vibe in this episode of Closet Chronicles (really all of them). This desire to teach and break down to digestible form cultural productions through analysis and a liberative gaze. I'm coming at this comment after a few lectures and insightful messages, and you fit right in to the discourse. I appreciate you showing up as your full self always. Your intellect is a gift. Keep letting your voice be heard and your light shine.
Thank you so very much!
@@ALove4Me You are most welcome! Thank YOU!
Love the swinging mini twists high pony too
I like the tea time/tea talk
Thank you!
Anti-racism disrupts, Token-ism assimilates!! That is a true mic-drop 🎤✨💯
Great commentary. It’s so easy to overlook toys as unimportant but you explain so well the importance and connections to corporate culture, racism, representation, etc. Never knew this Barbie doll and Mattel history, I’ll have to watch the documentary.
Girl you could be in the pulpit with your community narratives! 👏🏾👏🏾
Wow, thank you
Girl you could be in the pulpit with your community narratives! 👏🏾👏🏾 If people understood more about the holographic nature of the universe they’d understand how powerful changing our personal and community narrative is.
I love a good stir fry, thanks for all the tips and variations 😁
Yup, it’s better to adopt beliefs/stories that aren’t even true that serve you than truths that hold you back.
Also love the closet conversation.
This year I discovered that I truly love perfumes with a Gourmand scent, one called Sugarful by Michel Germain is my current favorite.
OMG I really love this episode because you touched on so many topics that I could relate to. Thank you so much for this video ❤❤
Glad you enjoyed it!
Love the simplicity of the jewelry with the casual look but still elevated.
Love the meals and the talk, I will have to watch the documentary.
Thanks for watching!
I’m with you sis anytime someone says something negative about black people I’m going to disagree because we are people everybody else looks to for the next great things of course we have negative just like every other race but our short comings are always blasted across the news
Enjoy cooking segment and tea time the most but you are one of my favorite content creator ❤
exactly! Most imitated and criticized. Thank you so much!
So glad to support you!
Thank you so much!
Looks like I need to perfect my stir fry recipe. Another good post!
Thanks for watching!
I love mushrooms too, eat them every day. Today we had seared lions mane steak 😋
That sounds delicious
I had no idea ppl blanched their stir fry veggies, I thought it was just my poor technique making mine overcooked and uneven
CosRx is a really good brand, I have their cica toner and love how hydrating it is
I'll add that toner to my list. Thanks for sharing!
