Hey! Thank you for your kind words. I had such a great time in NYC. Now, this is a long shot-Do you know Dwight? He used to (a loooooong time ago) be a tech at the New Victory theatre. I think he commuted from Long Island. He rode back in the day as well 🤙

Hi Scott, amazing channel you have here. I am located in Canada and we got snow today so I decided to surf you tube looking for how to on g turns to refresh my mind and came across your channel. Im in my 50s and started riding again after a 27 year break. You have so much knowledge to share and I am so glad that I found your videos. If you notice more subscribers then normal that would be cause I shared your channel with all my friends that ride. Keep up the great content.

Hey Richie, that is so great to hear! Thank you 😃Let me know how you go with the g turns. They are a fun trick-especially when you get that glide. Which part of Canada are you in? I spent 2 weeks in Montreal with the circus back in 2015, I think it was. I had a ball. I had never seen so much snow on the ground in my life! 🤙

@@bmxbanditdude Well thanks for the message back Scott. Awesome to hear that you been to Canada and Montreal at that. I'm in Toronto Ontario but only been here since 2009 and still getting used to the winter's lol. My younger year's of bmx I rode pro for Skyway and the Curb-Dogs growing up in California. I've meet a great group of guy's here some old schoolers and some New school. The new stuff is to tech for me as I don't do spinning in circles as well as when I was a teenager LoL.
I will keep you updated on the g-turns. It feels great to be on a bmx again. Be safe and thanks for taking time out of your life to make these video's.

@@richieanderson1968 hey Richie, wow! That is awesome. I was sponsored by the loca bike shop. Got free wheel truing and some brake cables 😃 on the same tour that took us to Montreal, we were in Seattle for a week. I found a bike shop there and it was like being 14 again but this time being amongst it rather than looking at the pictures from the magazines. It was AWESOME. Also, someone commented that I could possibly try a decade out of the g turn. Haha, your turn!

@@bmxbanditdude I'll pass on the Decade out of a g turn LoL. Yeah we had a few sponsor's like that too that gave us shoes, stickers, wrist bands and watches. We were supposed to give stuff away and only handed out wrist bands and stickers and wore the rest lol.
Were your ears ringing today? We were having a conversation about your channel today, the guy's are really liking it and are pumped that your like us but located on the other side of the world from us.
I see your riding a Hoffman bike is that your bike of choice? I have a Hoffman bike to I had signed by Matt and sits in my man cave. I'm riding an old 87 Haro sport.

@@richieanderson1968 I’m totally flattered that you are talking with your mates about my channel. It is so bizarre-the internet feels like such a fickle place, yet so far, all the comments and feedback have been totally humbling. I feel like I have made so many new friends, it is quite incredible.
Yep, riding the 2020 Hoffman big daddy. Well, I got it in 01/2020. Mat even signed the box for me😃 in the 80s I had a haro master. It got nicked in the mid-90s. Picked up a GT pro freestyle off a made. So solid! It sits in the prop room at the circus now. I replaced it with a dragonfly because everything on it started breaking. Cranks. Handlebars. I could not trust it. Found. A dragonfly frame in early naughts. That got nicked and ended up with a colony exxon. Then Hoffman brought out the big daddy-in chrome! I wanted/needed something bullet proof. It is a bit longer in the top tube than the colony and it actually suits better😃. I do miss the dragonfly, however. That was solid.
