- a Hsiang Chin Moe film
running time: 60 minutes
Kiro Hirata, KAPITAL's lead designer, and Eric Kvatek, photographer, meet up in France to shoot the Spring 2014 KAPITAL book, “Sailor Ninja”. Old friends return and new friends are made over a five-day shoot in Paris, Souesmes and Cassis. In Paris, the KAPITAL crew focuses on Bohemian styles and French Ninjas. Slightly more familiar hunting themes are played with in the French countryside, of course with a KAPITAL twist. Finally, the entire production crew travels by train to the South of France for a nautical-themed excursion. Through the behind the scenes look at the inner workings of a KAPITAL photo shoot, the special nature of the fifteen-year-long friendship of Kiro Hirata and Eric Kvatek is revealed.
For this project, the filmmaker, Hsiang Chin Moe was given a unique opportunity and total access to the KAPITAL fashion shoot and complete artistic control over the resulting film.

You can tell that Kiro Hirata is naturally expressing something, you can actually feel it, and love it.
KIRO the MAN, Kapital is so grailed, timeless
Big fan and loyal Kapital customer - As a foreigner living in Japan, I have great access to Kapital as a regular visitor to their Osaka, Kobe & Tokyo stores....However, its sometimes challenging finding everything i I like in big sizes - but perhaps that helps me save a little bit of meny too or else I would buy everything!! :)
can you grab me some of there bandanas? (Please)
I imagine living in Japan as a tall/big person is a challenge when it comes to clothes lol! I'm a 5'5" dude so I've got the same problem with non-Japanese brands not fitting (especially pants).
Kapital is my obsession. Definitely my favorite Japanese brand. Just ordered some more used Kap from Japan. Excited to receive my package soon!
As a dude that's 5'5", their size 1 stuff fits me better than any brand I've worn before.
Where did you go to buy that?
This Made me appreciate Kiro even more
so much love to both of them. best brand ever.
Thanks for this man. This is gold
thank you for this.
Really like how this documentary was filmed. Comfy vibes, Kapitalesque.
Thank you so much for this work!
The sound track is amazing
love to them, very passionate
Need more brown and black models
Oh stop

@@Regigigas135789because Kapital is Japanese-Americana I think they specifically chose those ethnic models to accommodate to that
old skool design. i liked kapital clothing.

maybe i can takeover kiro's legacy sorry i just have crazy energy and the insane ideas and genuine i think Kapital is simple but elegant yet timeless may sound cliche but its found a place in my heart you taste its passion from the clothes something i really wish i could work with. beauty
The comments around 26:30 about sitting next to the most beautiful girl is so cringe, those are literally the people you’re shooting with and the implication that further away women are ugly is brutal😂
21:10 Nazi symbol on blanket I wonder who buys that?
I hope this comment is ironic... Learn what swastika had originally standed for before Hitler started using it. Educate yourself man
Jakub Hmm why don’t you enlighten me professor!
I think it's a symbol of Buddhism
@@mariusdlb3713 You’re basically allowing the Nazi’s theft of the symbol. Are you really so afraid to fight for the Buddhist’s right to the symbol?

Kapital is a good brand, but supporting Tipet to be independent is their fault. Be a good apperal brand, just don't play politics.
