Kinda sad this had like zero threat to you in this, the ferry just takes a beating while davy jones makes the dutchman dance side to side. Still, it was pretty fun to play through the first time with my friends

But the lore and characters and story and music amd locations make up for the weak AI.
It was an adventure and it sure was one hell of a ride.

Yeah you have a point, the Ferry doesn't actually take damage and when you die you just respawn right back, though that actually makes sense, you're already on board the Ferry of the Damned so where else would you go?

@@sarthdidious96 To be fair, they couldn't really make death punishing because of lore, and going by some dialogue from Tall Tale 4, apparently the Ferry was in no actual danger? So what could they do? It's because of lore and story reasons that there was no real threat

@@firehedgehog1446 well they could’ve made the Ferry take damage and if it does end up getting sunk you can just restart. It’s a video game after all. And they could’ve made the AI in the tall tales a little harder because it takes no effort to defeat them. And in the Tall Tale 5 they definitely could’ve made the Flying Dutchman stronger and take more than 5 hits before sinking that was ridiculous and disappointing
