Great video guys, I love it when you pull out a slightly older game to play. This game has been in my sights for quite some time, a bit like Jaws by Ravensburger, but, and just like Jaws, keeps getting pushed back a month as some other game catches my eye, and it's just the one I simply can't live without. But all hope isn't lost, Jaws finally joined my little collection about a week ago, and Lucky Numbers will too in the not too distant future, just not this month... Great team this time, combining with a good game to make a thoroughly enjoyable episode - great job and thanks for posting!
Nice playthrough. I've played it a lot on BGA, and it looks like a fun play with a physical copy too. The Bruno Cathala variant (take an additional turn if you have 2 identical diagonally-adjacent numbers) makes it more fun.
I like that it’s sort of like a puzzle-y, tile laying version of “Welcome To…” and I like that it’s a race to fill the board with a clear winner instead of having to calculate points to determine the winner. Really easy to just simply say “let’s play again” almost immediately after finishing a game.
Yes, there is. You can even see it on the video (depending on how good your eyesight is I guess :) ), but every 6 and 9 has a line under the number for that reason.
wasnt this played before but 1 vs 1 on a Game Night Date Night? Around 31 50 Deborah draws a 10 but could she have used it next to the 5 in the top row? Im probably misunderstanding the rules for placement
No. I think you're correct she could have played the 10 in the top corner, but I think she was thinking she'd be limited in what she might be able to play below it. Then she drew the 11.
Yeah, she could have used the 10 there. And Nikki should have taken the face up 19, but she waited for Lincoln to take it and discard an 18 until she saw she could place that--but the 19 would have let an 18 fit under it.
Keith, we played the game before on a GameNight! Live. We take the opportunity to try games before filming them for the show on GameNight! Live. Thanks for the note and for watching. -Lincoln
Great playthrough but I felt ta times yoi were all trying to get numbers next to each other instead of spreading out and filling in as you go along. A few great placement opportunities were missed.
What does the note mean at the beginning of gameplay when you said there was a mistake made ? Are you saying that you should divide them into different colors before picking initial tiles ? I don’t see that in the rules.
I am watching this game and I am confused about their choices. E.g. 31:42 why can't You put that 10 in top right corner? And these 2 games are full of this type of cunfusing moments.
Another one with Deborah! I guess we're all lucky!
I've played over 900 games on BGA and own the game. Love it!
Yay! Another game with Gabby and Deborah together 😊
I think this is such a great game. The simplicity of the mechanics is just genius

Another awesome and fun episode 😁 And yet another stellar game I need to add to my collection - Ty ty for the playthrough 😃
Yay Gabby and Deborah.
Is there a way of knowing which are 6's and which are 9's? Is there a clear way of knowing the orientation of those tiles?
Yes, there is. You can even see it on the video (depending on how good your eyesight is I guess :) ), but every 6 and 9 has a line under the number for that reason.
Brilliant play by Lincoln at 15:24. He knew the 18 would come back around to him because everyone else’s high corner is well established.
That looks like a fun game and I like that the rules are simple.
Deborah is a smart cookie.

She would have needed a 11-14 below it anyway, so she should have placed it.

It’s in the Game Setup section:
Use one complete set of Clover tiles
(= 1 color numbered from 1 to 20) per player.
Yes , so what mistake did they make ? The example in the rule book has a start where two of the numbers are the same .
@@elgmdThis is not a mistake. Double-numbers during set-up is allowed.
@@johnratigan3931 agree . I wasn’t sure what mistake they are talking about .
I must have missed something... why are there 4 different colours of tokens?
They are to sort the tokens so you know you have a full set for each player. Thanks ks for the note and for watching. -Lincoln
@@boardgamegeek Thanks, Lincoln, for the reply. And thanks to all of you for your continuous enthusiasm sharing new games with us.
I've had a few games where we did run out of tiles. So it can happen.

Deborah: "Are you a lonely intellectual like me?"
In a world of Kardashians, be more like a Deborah. ❤
I agree, we need more Deborahs in the world.
It’s 2D Skip-Bo. The rules are exactly the same except for the extra dimension.
I totally meant Racko, not skip-bo
wouldnt play this game again without being offered a cake at least
Hubby and I loved this one! I'm tempted to grab this one
