Pro-tip for removing those reflectors - a bit of fishing line will work wonders... heat gun/hair dryer for a bit, then take a foot or 2 of fishing line and snake it behind and apply pressure against the fork and just saw back/forth with downward pressure... it will cut through that adhesive like butter.
Make sure your footpegs have the retainer circlips behind so that if the clamp comes undone the peg will rotate but not come off. Mine were missing both sides and BMW are dragging their feet with a fix.
Have you thought about doing something like California Superbike School? You can rent one of their 23 S1Krr for about 300 for 2 days, if you do the 2 day session. Its a damn good time and i learned a lot in those 2 days. Ill be going back for the other 2 levels next year.
@@cyclefanatixsport think about it, you can go balls to the wall without worrying about as many idiots and cops lol. They will help you see what the bike is capable of and you also. I am in my late 40's and there were people in the groups older than me and they were having a blast.
I adjusted mine today. Do you think the brake pedal screw and the shift lever screw had loctite on it from the factory? They were a little hard to loosen up, and both screws don't have much room to twist to tighten.. should I be concerned about the loctite or should it be fine without it?
I loosened the bolt that holds up the adjustment for the gear selector but now i don’t have any movement for positioning it up and down… has anyone else experienced this? and possible solutions?

I removed mine with dental floss string, and believe me when I say it took 2 seconds each side!
Perfect thanks! Loving the videos very informative and you’ve done all the bits I want to do to mine
Glad to help
Thanks for the tips, I'm also a tall rider and I never found a proper fit, neither did the BMW dealer I bought it from, here in Europe
Looking good John! Those rear sets are super nice💯
Thanks 👍
First thing I always do when I get a bike is to remove the factory grease from the chain and lube it back up.
What a beautiful bike, really enjoying the show 😎😎😎👍
Glad you enjoy it!
Thanks

Good point I don’t think I have them on the bike

what 2 day session when is it??
@Jay-bw4vf look up California Superbike School and look over their schedule. The 2 day classes will get 2 levels knocked out in one day

I don’t believe they do

Try opening it a bit more?
Did it break the water pump yet? Mine will get fixed next week. 6000ks 😢
Nah
😮
Reflectors come off with dental floss in 1.3 seconds each side. Be sure to budget a whole minute in case unexpected things happen like floss breaking.
Cool thanks
how tall are you ?
6’2”
premium and m package take that bike past $25k pshh
Depends on the dealer. My local dealer has probably 20 of these in various packages and they are asking 23K for this particular package.
