My favorite little beast, used to have one 1gb ver. sold it this summer, still own that asus version r7 260x 2gb & asus r9 380 4gb strix and surprisingly this little beast performed better in 1 gb or less scenario, only cons being vram & lack of second fan or bigger heatsink.Speaking of fans beware of 4 little screws holding it, if you decide to dismount fan.

@@edindzaferovic1451 Thanks for the comment. MSI had multiple variations of the R7 260X. The one in the video is the OC v1. The OC v3 clocks the core the same as OC v1 but the memory is slower: 1250 MHz compared to the 1500 MHz on the v1. If other manufacturers had similar versions, then that might explain some of the differences.

    4:30 You're CPU limited.

Could very well be - CS2 hits about 120 FPS when CPU limited on the Z230, and the 98 FPS is fairly close to that.

@@oldertechtoday Try using a more modern CPU like the Ryzen Zen 2 series CPUs? Or 10 series Intel Core CPUs?

@@CougarCat21 I am working in that direction. However, I had to add my own spin on things, so my first step is to repair one of the motherboads that I bought as deffective.
