LOL a childhood memory came back. The Carlsbad spot at 4:15 looked kinda familiar to me and actually it is it was featured as a secret area in Tony Hawk Proskater 2 for the ps1 and is also in the remake.
One of the big reasons why Carlsbad was renovated and taken down (the school was outdated and need to be renovated but it was hurried along ) and most of the entire Carlsbad School Districts was "skate stopped" was because the district got sued by a kids family who skated at the elementary school that was down the road and the 15 year old kid broke his neck. The kid was not discovered until a security guard discovered him laying on the concrete unconscious which was guessed at 4 hours after he injured himself . The family went after the district under the "attractive nuisance" concept in civil cases and the district settled out of court and then it installed skate stops through the whole district, put up fences, hired more security guards and installed cameras at most of their schools. Oceanside did the same thing a few years later when a kid tried jumping from a roof onto a hand rail at one of the middle schools and paralyzed himself.

I get why it’s on here because it is an iconic skate spot but when I see el toro I think BMX. Especially Stevie Churchill’s truck driver down it and Brandon Begins attempt to half cab it that knocked him out cold. Still the craziest intro clip to an edit I’ve ever seen even a decade later.
Are you in the works of more ? Loved this !
Awesome video....brought me back to my sponsored days, great work, can't wait for the next one....and true...never knew that about hubba's being named after EMB. I think you also have to include the "GONZ" gap.
This brought back so many memories!
There’s some additional Info for the stairs at 8:00 another guy conquered the stairs, but with out a board. Parkour runner Dom tomato flipped the thing and broke some bones
Your montage at the beginning got me to subscribe solely for the Oblivion reference 🤣
