Let us know what else you would like to see!
it's happened to my truck Freightliner.
The truck was parked for 3 weeks.
I back to my truck and I saw that the tractor's dashboard ABS light on and couldn't start the engine because the ABS light came on automatically the engine would not fire up.
don't know what to do.
I was trying to start the engine and then check the brakes the way you showed in the video because I needed to build up Air inside the brake system to find out.
Hope you guide me to find out.
Thank you.
This works most of the time. I've been doing this for 25 years now, and it's not working for me this time.
What causes this and how do yall prevent it
There are few reasons it could happen. The first is if the truck is sitting idle for a long period of time. Make sure your brake shoes don't get too thin or else that could cause it to cam over and lock into place. Also ensure, the drum is not too deeply grooved. These are the typical reasons for locking up
@@LRMLeasingmine locked up twice now. Once after maintenance on brand new drums and shoes . Locked up and caught on fire. Now the second time . What else can be the causes for this 😢 ?
It's not cold and I'm in Florida.. Why my brakes locked up??
You by the water? If so salt water could do that or bad slack adjustor possibly
Why not just pour the coke on it and then pry
