I've stayed at the Bay Filey a few times, beautiful place to stay, only a 30 min walk along the beach to Filey or a 10 min drive, nice pubs in Filey, locals are nice too, good selection of beers too.
Did a Golf and Ale trip pre covid and stayed in the village of Muston, just a mile or so inland from Filey. Ale wise, we found the best ale pubs were the Cobblers arms micro pub and the Star Inn where we used to get wasted on Old Peculier, before walking back to our cottage.

I had rather more Old Peculiar than was sensible last time I was in Filey too, but that was in the Imperial. Great band playing that night.
