Just asking, but more towards wondering when he used to greet people with 'Assalammualaikum' (peace be upon you), for instance. Is it wrong or forbidden for asking?
@@mmmetallicamatica8699 Its not wrong to ask and I appreciate your concern. I think he is just trying to greet people politely, and it is not wrong for a non-Muslim to greet Muslims with "Assalamualaikum". In his case, I think he cannot differentiate whether the locals he met in Bali were Hindus or Muslims. He should have just greeted them with "Hallo, apa kabar" or some other greeting instead of greeting everyone he meets with "Assalamualaikum", especially in Bali where majority of them are Hindus. As for me I will never touch on religion when I comment on his videos as it is a sensitive issue. If you have ever joined or participated in his LIVE Tik Tok or LIVE Q&A, you will know what I mean 🙏🙏🙏

Great way of introducing yourself to these wonderful people. Balinese are the most welcoming people I have met. Never certain if they are laughing with you or at you, but always great trying to understand each other.

What a interesting man
Here is the logic behind of laughing and smiling in Indonesia: Some of basic politeness in our society (among many other rules) is smiling, showing friendly face and gesture. It shows they appreciate you, even though perhaps their heart is broken. Person with no smile can be seen as being arrogant or bossy. In some other countries, when I smile, people think I laugh at them, smirking or even flirting...when actually it is just standard polite manner in my culture.
@@akireparjokoSame for me. I am “accused” of smirking, flirting or doing something else suspicious. Over the years I have learned not to smile and now it feels strange when I do.

Please make more videos from Indonesia bro Davud. It's really good and live your videos from there. It's really amazing. You should go to other parts of Indonesia as well. Bandung is also another beautiful place and you can go visit Tangkuban Parahu Volcano. Is so dam beautiful. Even in Bali there are so many more places I can go to see the Blue River.

Enjoyed this a lot. One thing I noticed there were so many males.only a few females. The people seems happy talking and laughing very loud.Even I personally felt like they were very familier. The area looks so close to some places in my country Srilanka. How nice to hear one says.'come again next time'. You are such a lucky man only with the backpack , once in a blue moon happened to say , '.....no life '.

TUM is a mince meat ( pork / chicken / beef / fish ) mix with blood , grated coconut , spices and wrapped in banana leaf and then steam 👍🙏
