Thanks. I think 8th edition was under appreciated, but we never stopped playing it, and although we will be trying out Old World, I’m not sure we’re going to totally move away from it.
Ah damn, what a treat! :D Rebasing seems important for tournaments, not really for casual beer and pretzel games.. I can´t just accept putting the money and effort into rebasing.. GW can pay me then. But i also want backwards compability to the best edition, 6th Ed so.. ;)
Exactly. I don’t even know if I’ll like the new game, so I’m not going to commit to changing any of these models I spent so long on. And the tournament scene is well in my rear view mirror.
Nothing wrong with smaller games. As you probably know it’s my preferred size. But I get it. There’s something about the big hordes every so often. Just glad I didn’t have to transport the army to someone else’s house.
Thanks. I’ll definitely check out how to make spacer movement trays when the time comes. Those larger bases I have stuck in the middle of some of my units may cause me some trouble, though.
Ahhhh.... there are several videos and a warhammer community article, I think, on using those very filler bases. Perhaps it may be easier than you think, bedt of luck.
I've really missed these battle reports! I know it's hard to get games in, but I really hope you'll manage a few more in the coming weeks and months. Thx for posting!
@@dmgashbad4908 Dito! In a far future, when everyone else has gone over to TOW, I'll book the most expensive trip of my life and come over and play you, just to keep the game alive! =)
Welcome aboard. Most models for the upcoming Warhammer: The Old World use different base sizes from Warhammer 8th edition. For example, the Orcs here are on 25x25mm bases, but in the Old World they will be on 30x30mm bases. I refuse to tear off my old bases and replace them with new ones (just like I refused to do so when Age of Sigmar came out), so I will either look at getting some spaced-apart movement trays, or, preferably, convince my opponents to just go with the old base sizes.
Thanks for your response. I didn't realise this was the case. I thought it was same. I was hoping to play some games maybe have to rethink. I have orcs and goblins too.
Ah, I love Big ´uns with spears. My first mob, now 30 strong, has spears and were suppose to be Big ´uns. But i also mae 30 with two choppas so.. They fit it better (6th Ed).. But I LOVE the spear models of the brian nelson Orc Boyz.. Just.. I dunno what it is, but looks so good to me, they way they hold them, the spears along with those goofy bodies and heads. :D
Surprising treat for a 2500 point game on this channel. And under 1 hour. Irresistible. Thanks for sharing!
No problem. It was a lot of fun. I may have to try to get in these larger games more often.
I always love seeing your armies , so much character with the older models and conversions
Thanks. It’s nice to see some of these old models back in the spotlight (and even back in production) with The Old World.
Always happy to see some 8th ed. Thanks for sharing. Great looking orc army.

@@dmgashbad4908 I don´t think it matters then.. Pros and cons.. I love your bases, hurts thinking about ripping them off..
Great armies. We have just moved on from 1000 to 1500p in our battle reports. I hope we'll play with armies of this size on day.

Absolutely brilliant. I hope to see some more soon!
Thanks. I will try, but sadly it doesn’t look like there will be any Warhammer Fantasy in the next few weeks. Maybe February, though.
@@dmgashbad4908 that’s grand. loving the channel anyway
Great looking armies! Don't rebase use 'Sabot' bases to give the extra size needed! Great video as always.

I will make an effort. I did really enjoy this game.

Hi. Just subscribed. What do you mean by rebasing everything?

Why
Because Gork and/or Mork demand it!

I don´t even know that that big bird ´fing is.. Is it tasty? Can the O&G´s roast it like a chicken?
We will put every effort into finding out.
@@dmgashbad4908 Love it, hehe! Roast chicken. So good.
