Hi, I’m just watching your video and wanted to ask you about the tub your using, is it the Zoomed Turtle tub? If it is then I wanted to ask what your thoughts on it are? It’s looks perfect fit your diamondbacks and I’m considering getting one for my pond turtle hatching but I read mixed reviews about it? Some say the swimming area is too small but it looks like your hatchlings have plenty of room?
Message me on insta and I can help advise better as I miss comments on here, but I can’t remeber if it was a zoo med or not, I’ll check video later , but any tub can be made into a great enclosure! Don’t listen to the haters , as long as it’s big enough it is perfect as gives them more privacy.
If a diamondback terrapin is born in freshwater, can it be converted to living in brackish water? I know you cant put a diamondback terrapin that was born in brackish water in fresh water, but would the opposite work?
Got a juvenile missisippi map turtle It appears to have fluff like algae around the base of its tail , new to turtles wondering is it poop algae or bacteria ?? any advice be appreciated
Greatly depends, it's like a fish tank. Turtles are notoriously messy and would require at least weekly in most cases. However lets say you have a great filtration system, you can stave off maintenance for longer. But if you want to optimally keep your turtle healthy i'd say keeping great water conditions is the best thing you can do
Awesome video bud 👍🏼 can’t wait to see the next updates on these beauts 👌🏼keep up the great work
Cheers my friend much appreciated, can’t wait to see your new addition 😊
Great video as ever mate - I haven't taken the jump and got a turtle yet, but the more I watch your videos the more it is looking inevitable!
As always I appreciate the support… when you do get a turtle, what turtle will you get ? 😊🐢

How often do you have to change the water and clean the tank?

Sorry it’s been a while
Are the aggressive do they bite you? Thanks
Their quite docile but May bite if they feel threatened but most part handling is ok as long as it’s not often and make sure hands are clean
