Great video and information. I would love if you would do a comparison of the taper mount linear comp, tactical comp, and the 2 port brake- pros and cons and uses. Thanks!
Thanks for the support i love the hammer comps too! haha hence why it was one of the first tutorial videos :) . I'll bring up your suggestion to manufacturing team
I'm glad you mentioned the Paladin. Such an awesome can that doesn't seem to get the recognition it deserves. Regardless, my range buddies are always super jealous when show up with mine. Solid video btw.
HAHAHA I agree 110% The Paladin launch was odd. Came out right around 41F so we cleared them out without trying. Fast forward 2 years and we finally have enough time to start doing more marketing :) . Thanks for the support. Glad you like the can
While we are talking about the paladin. I have an Optimus and I'm curious if the paladin is any quieter than the optimus in its full size configuration. Say on 300 blk?
The Paladin is going to be a bit quieter due to the fact that it features our patented baffles and is a larger diameter. The Optimus is an awesome do everything can though.
On another note, I want to buy/build a 9mm SBR. I have the previous generation of Revolution 9 suppressor just before the latest version that was introduced (with the wrench flats around the base as seen in 4:44 in the video). If I could get that base for my 9mm can I can could run a Hammer Comp taper mount on the next SBR on my list. Anything compatible there? The video shows the part # as GAMMBS. Not sure if that is compatible with the Revolution 9 can I have already. If so that would be awesome and I can go ahead and order that part.
This video talks about that accessory part. # GAMMBS . it can be purchased on our website for like 89.95 i think. www.griffinarmament.com/Griffin-Armament-Taper-Mount-Blast-Shield-p/gammbs1.htm
It has the same thread pitch and outer diameter as my previous generation of Revolution 9? It's interchangeable with the fixed mount, 3 lug mount, etc? I just saw it on the site but I thought the geometry and OD of the Revolution 9 can changed between Mod 3 and Mod 4 or whatever it is now. Also the site says it's for the Optimus but does not mention the Revolution 9 (current or previous generations) at all.
as many as it takes to get the hammer comp timed to the appropriate position with the required torque value. Logo should be in the 6 o'clock position so facing down towards the magazine. Certain devices will not have a logo because their performance does not change based on how the device is oriented on the barrel, so only proper torque is required (ex. EZ Brake).
I guess it's not completely an impossibility, but the taper feature ensures a very solid lock up and minimal/repeatable POI shift with the device/suppressor correctly attached/aligned.
I have the original on my 10.5 SBR and it's been great. LOVE it.

Love my hammer comps, glad to see the line expanding. Please drop a navy style 3-lug.

Also, glad to see you aren't making up awards about the best muzzle device like another place. The quality speaks for itself.
go6cougs our awards are happy customers! Thanks for the support!

Why not more .45 options for the bushwacker?
How many of the included washers do I need to use when installing the 9mm Hammer Comp?

Can these cans back off when mounted this way?

Are these suitable for California featureless builds?
No...communifornia is illegal to own any!
Do you have to time this flashcomp?
What do you mean time?
John Paul time it on the barrel
Oh gotcha, thanks
how is the hammer comp on flash? say compared to a regular a2 birdcage?
about equivalent. It is not a flash hider though. It is a compensator.
“Carbine” is a pistol.
Takes “glock mags”...glockazines
