And that's one weakness of samsung, the battery optimization isn't good enough

It is never enough.
It is like you said 120W is enough but in the future 240W maybe too slow.
Yes and no , battery can always be improved , make no mistake if you start using more features , battery life will deplete much faster.
I see the same thing on my 12 pro max. , battery life stand by time is very very good ,and with light usage its good too , but when you start cranking up the power hungry features like navigation , using the screen brightness , have 5G operating , running BT at the same time , using the camera , you will see battery going down at a much much faster rate.
There’s something wrong about the geekbench score showing the p6 being faster than the p6 pro. The p6 pro running something in the background still?

@@scottjakoda3631 never heard battery life increasing after a new phone release
@@loho33 actually, the Iphone 12 is getting a increased battery life by updating to ios 15, so it is possible.
@@loho33 it’s possible. Sometimes they’re just bugs that need to be ironed out and optimizations in the backend to improve the processes that could be making the drain on their new chips. I’ve seen it happened before.
I don't think the pixel will be giving 8 hours of on screen time it's only giving me 5 hours and 30 min and to full charge 2:10 min 😭
I'm curious how many days the pixel phones were used for before this comparison as the whole point of adaptive battery is that it learns the user's habits and is supposed to make the battery more optimized over time. If this comparison was done pretty much right out of the box I'm not sure its as useful of a comparison vs if this was performed a week or more after regular use of the pixels.
I think you're giving Google too much credit. However much better the ai would get overtime would be offset by the battery's age, if there even is an ai battery improvement
I don't think the software would make a huge difference under heavy usage, but batteries do need to break in a few times for the phone to calibrate the voltage cycle iirc.
Definitely don't think you're giving Google too much credit we're talking about a brand new phone on Its 1st iteration versus a phone that's been out for a month and has had software updates to improve certain aspects. I estimate in about a month's time and about an update or 2 later the comparison will be a lot closer
@@F0XD1E Software makes a huge difference for the pixel though. Because some apps are literally frozen when the phone think you won't use them for a while. Under anormal circumstances like this test, the phone might have to unfroze app and stuff like that which makes it discharge faster.
I'm mostly basing this off my experience with my Oneplus 7 Pro. My battery performance was awful for the first few days and slowly got better and better over the first week. The difference between day one and day seven was night and day. I'm not sure if this was unique to that phone or something that is normal across most androids.

Not really a fair test at all, putting all in max settings should be the test. I don't personally know anyone that buys a QHD phone and runs it in 1080p.
Like buying a lambo racing against a fiesta and never taking it out of 1st gear it's obvious who's going to win...
Actually, most people don't use 1440p, cuz most people don't know the difference, so the default is 1080. People don't buy a qhd phone because it has qhd, they buy phones that happen to have qhd
@@sometwo7429 bit naive that. "Most people" that are spending flagship money know what they are buying. And even if they don't they will soon stumble across the settings... my point still stands that this test is still unfair either way.
