I'm playing through GU right now with HH and it's suffering and I'm wondering how you do it. Yeah the valor is good but the amount of upgrades that require tails is ridiculous and dont get me started on how hypers can't be KO'd or exhausted. There is a bunch of other little things that add up that make it so much harder to play than FU, 3U or 4U
Maybe try out a secondary weapon? While I do enjoy HH, there's some monsters that are a pain to fight with it (rajang!). Also, it does feel that HH doesn't kill as fast, imo, so don't get too bummed if it takes you longer to finish hunts. There's a good reason that there aren't many HH speed runs with HH in GU.
bone horn with the jho cena set might do ok until you focus on grinding a certain horn
Dual blades, longsword, greatsword and swaxe are all pretty good weapons for progression since you mostly just need to get good raw weapons

Rise hh is way better thoooooooo.faster and way more fluid.i guess since it's more simplified it takes away the feel it used to have but still.
I've yet to play to full Rise game. Is HH not that fun to play anymore?

@@Jahmin TL;DR, it's like good chicken with no herbs or spices. You can eat it, but it's plain and inoffensive.
Rise HH is still fun, yeah, but it's lost all personality that it had. It has become another "Button-Mashy DPS Festival" as I like to call it, all intention that was behind it's attacks, all that positioning required, is replaced by mindless button mashing. Is it still fun? I guess so. Do I want to actually put time into it? No, it's just larger dual blades now. Button mash to win.
Most people I've seen who like new Rise horn are the same people that used to say horn was "too hard" and wouldn't have even tried it without those new "buffs." Which sucks to me, given that valor horn is pretty much just Rise horn with like three more steps.

What's with the disgusting zoom througout the whole video? it gave me a headache
Sorry about the headache. I can see how it can be straining on the eyes. The zoom was mostly to put more attention on the hunter and the use of the Hunting Horn (and mostly to hide some of the HUD).
I didn't even realize cuz I was too focused the action lol
