I agree with you, I didn’t enjoy it a whole lot despite it being a good time. I liked Multiverse of Madness much more, but I’m a Sam Raimi fan so there’s that.
Wasn’t a film masterpiece, but sure was bloody fun! Watching it next weekend again but, I do wish they went out a lil bit more with the cameos might as well haha
You damn right this film doesn't save the MCU. It's an entity film. It's better than Deadpool 1and 2 but at the same time it's not better than those films in many regards. I'd say it's a perfect film to fit the third spot of the Deadpool franchise. Damn Furiosa was better than this film even though I still believe Furiosa should have been shorter. This film wasn't End Game level or even Ragnarok level, but it was a fun and good ride and the variant of Wolverine was done justice, as a variant. Yes this film does feel like it's the indicator point which will lead to the X-Men to enter the MCU and encounter the Avengers down the road but I need a huge stake director or directors, who can make extremely complicated stories direct the next Avengers film and the X-Men film. Really good is not good enough for the X-Men or the Fantasy 4 entrance into the MCU. They "must," no matter what, be great. Never ever listen to any channel, no matter how many followers they have or how popular they are. They all failed because they thought this film was going to be a savior, or they thought it would balance things off in the MCU. It did not. This film applied a bandage to a deep cut, that's all. This film slowed down the flood by having stomps. This was a film that claimed it was this thing and executed that thing as advertised, which was very good. That's all.
loved deadpool 2 and thought deadpool 1 was pretty fun and i love the comic character but i hated this movie the comedy was so unfunny, the dialogue was awful, they ruined the relationship of wade and vanessa because unnecessary drama, they never go full throttle on this logans backstory, the cameos were pointless, ruined the first 2 films and logan, and theres not enough of a emotional core compared to deadpool 2 also the anchor stuff was so stupid and by the end of the film it didnt matter it was just unfunny pointless fan service slop
Loved it. Went in for the fan service, and it delivered. This is one I can rewatch. Best portrayal of Wolverine yet, with the costume adding impact. More of this from Marvel, please!
I never thought it was gonna 'save' the mcu because that wasn't it's job. It's job was to be an entertaining film and in my book it fulfilled that.
