- Gay homosexuals Nick and Joseph spoil Deadpool & Wolverine is a 2024 American superhero film directed by Shawn Levy.
Premise: Six years after the events of Deadpool 2 (2018), Wade Wilson is retired as the mercenary Deadpool and lives a quiet life until the Time Variance Authority (TVA)-a bureaucratic organization that exists outside of time and space and monitors the timeline-pulls him into a new mission. With his home universe facing an existential threat, Wilson reluctantly joins an even more reluctant Wolverine on a mission that will change the history of the Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU).

NOT THE DOG AS THE BACKGROUND HAHAHAHHAHAHAHAHAH
Right I said the same thing 🤣🤣
@@krystaln7455 iconic 😂
Dog's either cute or nightmare-inducing, depending on one's tastes.
Deadpool is queer in the comics!
As a Marvel fan, I enjoyed this film. The joke with Chris Evans is that Deadpool wanted to be part of the Avengers; he even went to Iron Man's house to pitch himself to join the Avengers at the beginning of the movie and met with Hogan, Ironman's personal assistant, and was rejected. So when he runs into Chris Evans in the void, he thinks he's about to team up with Captain America, which is why he is so excited, only to find out it was a variant from a different timeline where Chris is part of the Fantastic 4, not the Avengers.
That almost explains it. You forgot to mention Chris Evans actually played the Human Torch in his first super hero role in the 2005 fox film, Fantastic 4. It was notoriously horrible but now its officially MCU canon because of this lol.
@@christophergreen9928 yes! That’s what made it even funnier that he shows up as a character from this terrible superhero film lol
@@christophergreen9928that's the real joke about it. My audience loved seeing Chris Evans in his original Marvel role. Applause for that. I wouldn't say the 2005 Fantastic Four is horrible. It's not very good, but it has its charm, including Chris Evans as the human torch. He does well. Clearly, well enough to return as the leader of the whole MCU. The rest of that cast is questionable and the dialogue is crud, but it's enjoyable.
@@adrianpale2342And to add, all of the characters in the Void were pruned by the TVA from their universes because that's how you get there, so the Marvel superhero characters that will never be added to the MCU got pruned.
Chris Evans played the Human Torch in the 2005 Marvel movie Fantastic Four. Deadpool got excited because he thought Chris was Captain America, a role Evans also played. He expected Chris to say the famous Captain America line, ‘Avengers Assemble!’ But instead, Chris said, ‘Flame on!’ revealing that he was actually the Human Torch from the notoriously bad 2005 Fantastic Four movie, which is why Deadpool was disappointed.
Deadpool is Pansexual in the comics
Love the look on Joseph's face everytime Nick reads his pull quote, lol
"She's also bald"
That was funny to me for some reason.
😂😂
😂
“Deadpool that looks like Ryan Reynolds but they de-aged him with Legend Of Zelda hair”? 😮
I LOVE Joeph's face every time Nick reads his pull quote!
“They all like his Peter.” Hilarious!
Dance with the Deadpool in the pale gaslight?
A Batman reference, whaaaaa
Cassandra in the comics was like a parasitic evil twin to Charles
"I haven't watched that series and i don't plan to" 💀
They don’t have to if they don’t want to.
Nick knows best right there. MCU needs a break, Star Wars too... New World Order and Agatha All Along won't help
@@adamgriffith873u haven’t even seen the movies because they aren’t out & you’re ALREADY complaining, jesus christ😭😭
@@adamgriffith873 The Loki show is actually pretty good. And I believe in the superhero fatigue also.
Guys Chris Evans was the Human Tourch in the 2005 Fantastic Four Movie. Oh and Joseph you are my BFF in my head because you also go hard for Miss Janet. Our girl tore it up on her recent stop in Atlanta. One love guys!
They need to put "Together Again" in the next Deadpool/Wolverine movie.
I love how Nick is just over it in this review. Like, he's seen enough...
the tailor patting his butt and crotch during the fitting had me rolling
I’m glad I’m not the only one who felt like they were going to sleep at this movie. It was fun, but they did too much. You guys have easily become my favorite reviewers.
It was so weird to be almost falling asleep at a super hero movie but I did too.
SPOILERS regarding one of the cameos:
Channing Tatum as Gambit was a reference to how there was an attempt to make a Gambit solo film with Tatum in the lead. It fell through in the end. I guess this was their way of at least giving him that.
This felt like a cross between dr strange and Thor: Ragnarok. The references and humor can only go so far lol
yes! Agreed!
Chris Evan’s was in the first two Fantastic Four
You had me at Channing Tatum is a mix of Mumbles from Dick Tracy. I friggin love this channel. I love Nick for that one so damn much.
My energy level on this movie is spent. It was very underwhelming with some strong cameos. Everyone should see it, but it nothing special unfortunately. Thank you for being a part of the Conversation on this one FishJelly.
I fell a sleep. I just should have watched this at home 😂 which I will once it comes out.
Marvel fell off hard. It's an absolute chore to sit through anything they put out now. There's zero heart, and the convoluted multiverse saga is exhausting. Thank you, guys.
You speaking one-thousand-and-eight percent FACTS, bro. They need to re-design the whole thing from the ground up at this point. Make smaller, simpler movies to slowly reintroduce the cast and go slow plus make it grittier. Like a Black Widow John Wick Style. A Blade old-school Blade style. They've been overthinking the multiverse, the plots, just everything
@adamgriffith873 At this point, I'm going to bypass everything until F4 comes out because I'm a huge Dr. Doom fan, but other than that, and if they blow it AGAIN, I'm out permanently.
@@adamgriffith873the problem with these movies is they don’t have a solid beginning or end everything needs to be connected and tied to another movie or project. It’s exhausting. They just should make stand-alone movies that just have a solid beginning and end full stop.
@@Aparturum @Aparturum you absolutely right and this is what makes James Gunn's new super man risky with the rumors he's adding 100 characters including a few secret ones that lead to other projects in the end.
The reason winter soldier was good is because it felt more self contained and polished. The first guardians too. I want these movies to be good but the multiverse eliminates stakes..
something we had in spades in older movies. In die hard you thought John mcclane was gonna die or lose a limb, or even just embarrass himself tremendously or lose everything including the shoes off his feet.
Even in the old Indiana Jones movies, we knew we were watching franchise heroes that really don't die but the tension was palpable - those movies knew how to blend humor and engaging action.
Now characters will joke like Jim Carrey through too much of the action and drama, muddling the tone and making the back of your brain less engaged even if the front of your brain kinda liked what it sees.
There need to be more moments like the "do you feel like you're in control" scene from dark Knight rises, less of the humor that gets too childish.
One thing they could try is take some of the shorter and more self-contained, like you said, and more popular stories from the comics and just put them on the screen ultra-accurately but they don't do that because no one gets paid royalties as a writer or contributer forever unless things are heavily rewritten. That's why the good elements of things like the dark Knight returns and death of superman comics were rushed and bastardized in the Batman v superman dawn of justice movie.
Plus it had the problem of trying to lead to ten other things like u mentioned too. I mean Lord help us. lolz
Just joined RUclips recently because of these guys! OMG!
They're the best.
Most of RUclips is not this fun .
They are the best. So funny. ❤
I'm so glad I found these guys three years ago. Actually it was probably around this time of year. These guys are hilarious and enjoyable.
Omg… yo, you’ve got a lot of RUclips to catch up on!
As a superhero and comic book movie fan, I was excited for it but sadly, I didn't enjoy it as much as I would have liked and how others are enjoying it which bums me out. It kinda fell flat for me a little but I'm happy for the people loving it.
I'm so sick of these damn multiverses😂😂. Love the reviews tho!
The way yall cracked me up with every eye roll😂
I love when you guys review movies from franchises - even more hilarious when you don’t follow them! 😂 Please do Alien: Romulus bc I’m already imagining Joseph’s reaction to a certain scene near the end and I need to hear Nick say RrrrrOMulus!
I no longer give a shit about anything Marvel related, so I was more than happy to have you guys spoil DP3 for me😝 Also, the multiverse is exhausting and tiresome at this point🤦🏻♂️
Your reviews are the best, the most complete and accurate, in my view. Thank y so much for that. I dont know if I am interested in Marvel any more but I needed to listen to you guys about this new Deadpool thing. Actually I cannot do without your reviews. Thank you again. You are second to none !!!
I completely agree with Nick and Joseph that no one ever dies, so there’s no accountability, and no strong emotion. I like a lot of the movie but it’s overstuffed with characters and I don’t know the TVA at all, so that dampened it a bit for me. Our audience was mostly quiet, but really got a charge out of Blade showing up. I think he was the most popular character. I’ll tell ya, seeing it once was enough for me.
Nick: “I haven’t watched that series and I don’t plan to.” 😂☠️
Reynolds is overexposed at this point. His joke cracking mania is too much for me to sit through a whole movie. Free guy was fine but I hardly could sit through Deadpool 1. I can't bring myself to watch this new one, although I'm an X-Men fan and like Wolverine quite a bit. Also the fact that so many actors nowadays have to sell their own liquor is also turning me away from them. Past decades it was perfumes, now it's the alcohol. Be at least original with your merch, dear celebrities!
I agree 💯 with everything you said
I really hope they had at least 1 Loki variant cameo. This movie used a lot of ideas and places from the Loki show. The least they could do is have a Loki cameo, even if not done by Tom Hiddleston!
I’m exhausted just listening to the review thank you both for subjecting yourself to this nonsense for us
thanks for the great detailed review, you guys are too funny and my favorite movie reviewers
Perfect summary. I went with my boyfriend and his brother. His brother is super invested in the franchise and they turn to me when it’s over and are like “wow that was great “ and I’m like “….yeah…”
I love when super fans try to criticize a critique of non super fans. 😂 You understand that movies should still be able to stand on their own right? Not understanding all the jokes means it might be a little too reliant on references to be enjoyable to the average viewer.
It does stand on its own it does a wonderful job exploring wolverine
Agree but also this movie and character, plus all the social media présence of this IP calls for à "for thr fans" type deal
It would be fascinating to see years from now how all these movies are basically RUclips videos where it's capitalizing on things outside of the movie itself
Airplane!, does that back then but some jokes on its own work
There can be a balance but this movie is specifically for the fandom
Which is.... O.0
Fish Jelly are critics who definitely don't cater to that - so yeah, if someone wants a super fans perspective they've come to the wrong place.
I'm a turbo nerd and this movie was too much like Ready Player One. More references than actual plot or humor.
I thought Reynolds sly "'kay" response to Evans' "You can quote me" was one of the funnier moments, saved until last. The movie was certainly spirited and the cast fully vested in the material, but it went on (like most movies do these days) and the tangents Joseph mentions were plentiful, when I really wanted them to just wrap it up, like 30 minutes ago. With the movie making a fortune, we probably won't have to wait years for the next "Deadpool," though.
That Deadpool 3 idea is actually fire 🔥
That feels like a Deadpool comic
that's a tag line ..."It made me sleepy" 😂🤣😂🤣
Love these guys!😊
Oh wow! This sounds like a direct extended episode of the show, Loki. You are both right when you questioned the reference to the show. It sounds incredibly fatigued. To bring back Chris Evans as Johnny Storm is so basic...The MCU is cannibalizing itself!😮
I started watching Marvel to hang out with my kids. Then I was watching Marvel youtube to figure out what the hell I was looking at...so I know all these stupid comic details😂 I envy y'all being so blissfully ignorant. Very fun review!
Easter egg: Chris Evans was the human torch in the Fantastic 4 (2005) movie before he was Captain America.
This was my least favorite Deadpool, and I agree with everything you both said. Anytime a movie starts to feel like a long movie, it’s always a bad sign to me. I started to get sleepy after a while.
Supposed to go this afternoon NYC time but…. All of the AMC Dolby IMAX seats are already occupied. I need seating that allows me to recline all the way back and sleep!!!!
I was kind of disappointed in this movie, was hoping they would do more, do better. It’s the weakest of the 3 deadpool movies, but I had fun at times. I was surprisingly bored, after a while. I loved Logan, and I think they should have just left him alone. I’d give it a 3/5, though some of the cameos were nice, including the coolest comic character ever. You know who he is 😉
I LOVE your reviews. I loved it. My theater erupted un laughter multiple times. You have to be a Marvel fan. I am aware you guys don't particularly care for comic book movies. I appreciate all your reviews❤. You are both beautiful and AMAZING ❤❤❤
Love you guys! The only reviews I care about! 💯
Ok, I'ma help out a lil' bit. The TVA is from the Loki series which is actually pretty good. The different versions of Deadpool are mimicking the different versions of Spiderman from the Spider-Verse. The idea of the multiverses are, of course, from Dr. Strange. You got the X-Men, Gambit and Wolverine are from X-Men. Chris Evans is Human Torch from Fantastic 4, which I couldn't get into. I know people are going to respond 'cuz I missed stuff. I was listening in passing while playing Genshin Impact. Lol.
And yeah, you gotta' be invested. But, the comics had all these characters. Lol. I love Marvel.
A dance with Deadpool in the pale gaslight...hahahaha😂😂😂😂
Sounds absolutely exhausting. Thanks for saving me so much money with these reviews. All the best 💜 ✨ 💕 💕
Lmaooo at the end I was like wtf is this Spiderman!??!?!
This movie made me so sleepy too for some reason and it felt so long. The opening was the best part in my opinion.
Joseph’s shirt❤
I just discovered your channel about a week ago and I'm already obsessed. LOL! Both of you are too funny and I love it. Can't wait to hear your review on this one.
The opening n sync scene was fun
Best part of the movie
Always enjoy your guys review , much love
I clicked so fast. 😂😂😂 I would pay to to see Fish Jelly and the Multiverse of Madness or The Void: A Fish Jelly Saga. Nick’s pull quote is the pull quote for every Deadpool movie. 💯 Ya’ll crazy girls and I ❤it.
I was shocked at the running time cause most Marvel movies are about 2 1/2 hours but going off this review, glad it wasn't near that long 😮
Your critique is exactly how I felt dead on. Give it a 6.5 out of 10😮
i’ve been having a great time listening to all of your videos for the past few weeks. love joseph’s blunt opinions and nicks analytical and historical analysis, even of a dumb superhero movie.
I have very little interest in seeing this film and your review makes it sound even more obnoxious than i figured it would be. thanks for your sacrifice 😂
Loki is so good. It’s one of like 3 marvel shows i like.
Now that I've actually seen the movie, there were multiple references to Planes Trains & Automobiles. The ending mirrored PT&A to a degree, the argument in the car mirrors Steve Martin yelling at John Candy in the hotel, and the "help me up" line was a callback to Steve Martin getting picked up by the balls.
I agree with you guys 100%. It was all over the place there was a few great cameos and funny parts, but the rest of the film was pointless and boring. I loved Deadpool 1 and 2, but this was very meh..
24:33 Every Deadpool has a peter... so they all like his peter!!! Exsqueeze me?!?! 😮🎉
Pun intended or not
I… hated this movie and i walked in thinking it would be good becuz of the hype. It felt pandering. Theres 2 overlong fight scenes that have zero point to them, the one in the wood and wolverine vs deadpool in the void. Theres no stake, no risk of any of the heroes dying so why do them? They wasted so many talented actors here. What a waste
Joseph brought up a good point. This is not our Wolverine. He's not the one we watched in all the movies prior with all those experiences. This Wolverine holds the burden of blaming himself for the death of the X-Men but we didn't see that. So why should be care about this Wolverine? What are the emotional stakes?
Hello boys! 😊❤
Ty for your honest opinion on this film. (and every 1 you review) I haven't been watching for long but, I will catch up. You're informative, heartfelt, and always entertaining reviews make me smile. You boys are fantastic 👏
You saved me from seeing this tomorrow w/my brother. Wolverine is awesomeness! Reynolds is..annoying, because he's always Ryan Reynolds! From his early films to this, he's ALWAYS the same dude & he's exhausting! 🤪😜
If you get the time, please watch Loki ! It's Marvel at its best. Has a wonderful story, really well written. Lots of action, beautiful cinematography, etc...
Sry for ranting on. You're adorable, hilariously sarcastic & I love it! Ty.💥💫
I kind of got the impression that dead pool’s girlfriend had some resentment against him towards changing the future when he went back in time to save her from getting shot because in one of the scenes she makes a comment about “well you haven’t gotten me a shot yet”.
I am glad to hear your review. You make sense.
Thanks for honest reviews boys. Was gonna go see "Trap", but had my doubts and definitely gonna see this!
Chris Evens was in the fantastic 4 as Human torch Johnny storm (2005) just an FYI 😊
The look and the attitude presented on Nick was funny around the 25 minute mark. Tell us what you really think Nick? LMAO!
This would probably be my reaction to seeing it. I'm tuned into geek culture but I haven't seen 90% of these Marvel movies and shows, so I'm sure I would be completely lost.
I guess I'm just more plugged into comicbook movies/shows than you guys, bc I got all the jokes you didn't. DP&W rocked my world. I literally weeped at the ending. Logan is such a loner, always seeking a place to belong. And for DP, to actually care, about even 7 people is huge for him. So, when Logan FINALLY joins the DP mini fam, it really REALLY hit with me.
God you guys are so good!! So funny, so insightful. I’m a fan
I believe Chris Evan played the Flamming Torch in the old old Fantastic 4 movie?
Edit: He did lol, in the 2005 movie I just looked it up.
Human Torch but yeah 🔥
@@rogermazuca4582Flaming Torch sounds like an awesome drag name
I thought it was crammed and the scene spacing was rushed
Nick’s pull quote made me do one of y’alls signature “Ooooooooooooh!” reactions, lol. I knew yall would hate it - but I LOVED IT - and that’s ok because we don’t all have to like everything! I think this was pretty much made for super comic fans, which I am, but that alienates the general public a bit with all the references and inside jokes and service. So for me it was a 4.5 but I understand your ratings as well. ❤
The void is from the tv show Loki, which has that smoke monster. The void in Loki is where all the rejects from the TVA timeline are cast off to.
In the void in this film, there's the 20th Century Fox logo buried in the sand. The Deadpool movies were part of Fox's Marvel. It wasn't cannon for the Disney Marvel Cinematic Universe.
All the inhabitants of the void in this film were part of the Fox Marvel movies with the exception of Blade, who was part of New Line Cinemas Marvel.
The joke of it is that they're all castoffs of the Marvel that didn't exist in the MCU. The Mad Max reference also being a joke that it's not related to Disney MCU.
The only MCU characters exist outside of the void (Happy Hogan and Thor)
All of different variants of Logan with the exception of Cavill are part of the comics.
Henry Cavill was rumored to be taking over Wolverine long before this film. Deadpool makes a joke about not treating him like the guys down the street referring to DC jerking him around about a Superman comeback that never happened
And Channing Tatum was supposed to play Gambit in other films that kept falling out of development.
Joseph has the Wolverine shirt but Nick didnt have anything red 😂
Ironically, he's the more serious one. So he should be wearing Wolverines colors and Joseph should wear red.
Deadpool is pan in the comics.
You won’t get 70% of the movie if you haven’t watched the Loki series..
Hugh Jackman may be able to get back into shape but I can't say the same for Marvel.
What seems the most ironic is that "multiverse" and "universe" stories conjure the idea of "there's no limit to the imagination" in terms of story development--yet here we are...with another multiverse plot.
Not me looking forward to this review more than the end of the movie WHILE WATCHING THE MOVIE. LOL…let me go on record saying I did not like it, before I even listen to this.
Nick on LOki " I haven't watched that series and don't plan to".....Good move dude, it was rubbish especially the 2nd season
The fox movies were dumb fun that walked so marvel could run and then Marvel stumbled.
This was a surprisingly loving tribute to those Fox movies (and Blade) even after litterally desecrating corpse of the final Xman movie.
I had fun but i can understand why its too much.
Sounds like a love letter to comic book readers and MCU folks. Can't wait to see it!
Sounds like a bunch of cameos and references mixed in with lame Ryan Reynolds jokes. Zero story, just cgi and cameos.
@@Latin-J You mean just like a comic book??
I also questioned why the twin sister was so young. I let my mind assume the twin sister was from an earlier time period.
Q: Did we ask for a Blade cameo, or did we ask for them to revamp Blade and give it the love it deserves...
First again I must say I really enjoy watching your reviews and I was surprised to see you guys did a review on this movie. I didn't think you guys (especially Joseph) would like movies like this and I was right. Lol I do totally agree with the both of you. I stopped being excited to watch Marvel movies when they introduced the multiverse. I right away knew it was the end of investing in any character when all they have to do is bring them back as another variant. It works for the casting because now anyone can be any character and they just have to say they are from another universe. They have made so many movies by now and to be honest only 3 or 4 of them have good storytelling. All of the rest including this one are only eye candy. And why does every Marvel movie have to be a comedy now with all of these jokes in them? I also noticed lots of them throw in popular music in them to piggyback on their popularity. I call it lazy movie making and horrible story writing so to make up for that they put in songs that they already know were hits before the movie. It's very disappointing so I now wait for these movies to come on a streaming service. I don't waste money to see these at theaters anymore. Thanks for the great review.
B-15 is attracted to Peter because there's a running visual gag in the movie that's he's overly well-endowed in the DeadPool costume. If you look below his belt, they put in a huge bulge and that's what she's looking at when she compliments how good he looks in his costume.
You know what made Logan great? It was a very simple straight-forward story, that didn't try to be anymore than that. Why can't we have those anymore ?
I didn’t watch this movie because I never watched any X-men movies or Deadpool so it would just be pointless for me
Blade showing up was crazy tho
The extra credits where the best❤
I think not having Loki in it with the tva stuff was a miss
Nick is hilarious in this one.
I was curious about this one, but figured it would be crap like the other Disney garbage lately
Thanks, I have a ticket for tonight but you have saved me a trip and given me a few hours of my life back - everybody wins!
