The aircraft will represent a strong commitment to a twin-engine future while retaining the size that made older aircraft like the 747 so awe-inspiring. The examples produced for airlines will surely be very nicely appointed inside, but the proposed business jet version of the aircraft is on another level altogether! We travel Boeing only on International flights, American Continental which are incredibly nice, quite comfortable on vacations.Impressive to work in later years to work in military clothing helping maintain the upkeep in the U.S. Military base Airplane yard outwest.

Tough choice between this and the ACJ350.
Is runway length going to be an issue compared to the A350?
I don’t think that that’s a factor that could affect someone’s purchase of a private widebody, so I’d say no
I can think of a few things that I could enjoy for 550 million... but it does make you wonder...
I’d rather buy a mansion on the ground.
The people who are flying in these already have mansions.

I think buying used A380 will be much grander and cheapee. But very limited airport could support it.
$500 mil sounds reasonable enough. Might get the Honda instead though with current fuel prices.
I feel that BBJ livery would be better than trumps version of AF1.
It‘s not "Trumps Version", it’s just a 747 modified to be the VC-25B! Probably the 747 was chosen as first, the 777X still needs time to be delivered and the 747-8 is available almost right away, and the second, I don’t know how large the equipment used on the VC-25B is, maybe the whole upper deck will be taken up by e.g. telecommunication systems and others
Or you can just head down to the desert and pick up a retired 777 that airlines are putting out to pasture, on the cheap. Grab yourself an extra set of engines as spares, while you're at it.

The ACJ350 already is a thing and can be ordered! Technically the, by now, two A350s of the German Air Force can be considered ACJ350s!

Its nice but there is no cargo ramp to drive on my Bugatti collection. I guess I'll be going for a 747-f conversion, that plane does have a drive on ramp for a Bugatti... I wonder if Boeing would sell a C-17 for conversion?
