A lot of resellers live in Ohio. It’s as crowded as Florida, but not as crowded as Las Vegas where there are more resellers than anywhere I’ve been so far.
Yeah we’ve noticed more resellers in the stores we frequent

Sourcing that many items individually, do you use an average for cost of goods? Would love to see some content on how y’all came to an efficient way to record financials. It always helps to hear what didn’t work for y’all in the past. Thanks
My guess is a rollo printer in the box!!
So we cost average our weekly purchases. We will buy all of our items for the week and cost average the total on Friday afternoon, and then start listing them on Monday! Then just repeat that process! When we first started we didn’t cost average, which was fine when we didn’t have a lot of items. As we grew we realized a cost average was the best way to do it!
How many items would you say you had in your store when you hit full time income
Well we have two people that need full time money so it was more for us than the normal person that goes full time. It was around 6000 listings for both of us to have full time income. So a 2000-3000 item store with good sell through rate items that make $10-$20 profit would be a comfortable full time income. At least that’s our opinion!

I have to ask, how often do you source & how many hours a week? I am going full time soon and will be upping my sourcing strategy. I'm in Ohio too but I don't think in the same area. So much clothing and thrift stores here!
We source for about 8-9 hours on thursdays and then a few other short trips throughout the week.
