Very beautiful horse! Talented rider! When I read Mrs. Valegro, I thought perhaps Freestyle was having Valegro's foal! A baby from those two would be an amazing mover.
I love Freestyle! Her ears whilst performing are just so bouncy and relaxed! I also really like the breeding philosophy of the stud she came from, Mount St. John, it's super interesting how they try not to repeat a stallion/mare combination exactly, instead going back up the bloodlines of one or the other!
I know exactly what she's talking about. I got my dream horse not that long ago, and at first it was love at first sight, but when I got on him, he was absolutely amazing, if felt like I was floating on a cloud! I was out to try him three to four times, and he was so calm, and his personality was also amazing. He LOVED to cuddle and being petted. He also loves treats ❤️ And the fact that he loves to work is also a really good quality! He always opens his mouth on his own, when I put a bit in his mouth. He never bites after me or anything when I tighten the girth, he's always calm. He got used to the new place in a matter of days! I also teached him to jump over obstacles and he absolutely loves it. His ears are pinned to the jump, and when he's over it, he tries to quickly run around and try again. 💕 I could talk about him for hours, I just love him so much! 🤗

Yes! Most of Charlotte and Carl’s horses are out most of the day. I believe Utopia lives outside 24/7, even before competition. They are a top notch example of proper horse care.
There's a video done by I think possibly even the same channel where they show off their property. They also explain their turnout, and it's actually really good. The young horses are out 24/7 and the competition horses are out at least all of the night.
Ruth K That is nonsense. Of course it hurts. That’s why it’s used. Chains are put over or under sensitive places on a horse’s face (and every place on a horse’s face is sensitive), to control them with pain, or the potential of it. Charlotte is not using it harshly, and that is good, of course. But even so, it’s there and Free Style knows it, as any horse would. The argument that the comparatively small weight of a chain would make it unable to hurt a horse is also nonsense. Think of a splinter. Or a needle. Or a bee sting. Or a pebble in your shoe. Lastly, this wasn’t your comment, but I’ll say this here to respond to another who said it’s was “just for looks.” Wrong. It’s placement has a function. When done by popular people everyone watches and admires, it can become a “look,” which is then repeated.
