Love that you modelled the tree roots underneath the tank even though you wouldn’t necessarily see them. Great attention to detail!
A lot of good techniques in this “package”! The trees and mud are great! I was trained as a tank commander in the US M60A1 tank and vividly remember our first encounter with a tree. Went down like I was on a riding lawn mower, mowing the lawn. Didn’t slow the tank down a bit. But as a tanker I would have been pretty darn nervous back then punching thru those hedgerows exposing the underbelly to an anti tank shot. Those guys were very courageous to do what they did.
The M60 was a cool machine - it sticks in my memory as the spear of the US Army during the Cold War. There is one on display at the National Guard barracks in Annapolis that I like to visit sometimes. It's funny - it used to be green but was repainted desert colors some time after Iraq. In my opinion, they should go back to the green, it looks more 'right' on that tank. Thank you for your service!
The Churchill is an ugly yet beautiful tank, can't help but love it
Awesome Ian 👏👏🙂 Love the Churchill, it was the first tank I made ‘back in the day’. You’ve really cracked the vegetation, there’s so many extra 3rd party plants & foliage out there, but you’ve done a great job with what you’ve used.
Really dynamic as the tank bursts through the hedgerow, figures complete the scene perfectly. Nice one bud 😊👍
Thanks 👍
Bloody hell Ian another level again good boy I'm not going to be happy when you get back to work lol take care my dear friend 👍👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏✌️🐑😁😂
Howdy! Great to see some Commonwealth troops and hardware for a change... Thank you and we'll do one for an excellent subject well executed.
I love watching the select few on U2b that create these masterpieces.... Fed up with well weathered vehicles sitting on pristine shelves and not sitting in a landscape giving scale and a story....
Now to return to my Churchill mkIII ARV and Crusader AA MKI...and here's the irony... Both of which I have wanted to set in a Bocage type setting....
So a huge thank you for the inspiration... I now just need to finish my detailing and then teach myself the art of airbrushing, etc...
A big "Ta!" from me 👍👍
Beautiful work as always, the Churchill is a beast of a tank, i love them! The dio is first rate, figures excellent, most enjoyable to watch 👍👍👍
Cool diorama! Gives a sense of action busting through the hedges. Very well executed! Cheers!
SuperB , my friend! Awesome foliage! :)
Thanks Toni 👍
Wow. Superb. Very inspiring.
Great work, Thanks for the inspiration and sharing the video.
Fantastic job yet again....your work is amazing to watch!
Nicely done, great sense of motion with the British advancing (would have liked to see a few Germans, though), and the hedgerow turned out amazing 👍
Très beau diorama magnifique 👍👍👍👍😍
Awesome work friend!
Magnífico trabajo 👍👍👍👍🇪🇦
If there's a bustle in your hedgerow, don't be alarmed now. It's just a spring clean for the May queen.
And she's buying a stairway to Heaven 😉
Great Diorama but where do you source your music?
RUclips audio library 👍
It's very beautiful and dramatic diorama. Also your modeling and painting are good as usual. Thanks for uploading.
How hard to create 3 or 4 dioramas that fit together for a larger theme.
😁👌
Great to see British/Commonwealth troops! I’m a retired Canadian armoured officer and my unit, The First Hussars, came ashore on DDay in Sherman’s. 🇨🇦
Thank you for your service sir. From an ex 8th Hussar.
Scott Buchanan I was also an 8th Hussar.
Thank you for your service
I don't do tanks I do euro trains, but have to say very impressive scratch build diorama. Thought you could of added a German on the front side facing the tank knelt down with a panzerfaust at the ready! Loved it tyvm.

Sorry but this is getting embarrassing, its the level of detail and your eye for these things that sets what you do apart from other people. The skill of a real expert is the ability to make something really difficult appear easy. I walk away from your work inspired to go and do something, just to go and try something like you have done, so thanks.
MY wife hates you because I go and bury myself away in the garage and the other tasks don't get done as quickly as they used to.
Regard Pat
Read alot of modeling books magazines and web articles and boss you got the best hedgerow out there. I even have the book you got the inspiration from and yours is still better. Good job bud keep em coming
Nice work! i'm does look your works with interest always.
I am very excited about your new diorama! Respect!!! Greetings, John
Yet another master piece! Great again my friend!
great job tank men and diorama looking awesome
In any case something to enjoy! A wonderful diorama and a completely masterful job in all respects.
From the diorama to the figures to the Churchill. Very nicely done with a lot of care in the small details.
A good eye for interaction, Ian. Best wishes, Joachim
Your work just gets better and better. Great to see
Excellent work, I’m learning a lot in how you put your videos together, keep up the good work mate. 😊👍
Cheers Marcus and thanks for watching 👍 ......there's better out there than me, lol
I like this trees and bushes ...nice :)
Wonderful job, the work on the vegetation is outstanding...😍😍
Parabéns pelo excelente trabalho. 🤩🇧🇷👍🏼👍🏼
🍻🍺🤙👌👍
You give me so much inspiration. Thank you! 👏👏👏👏
Wow, thank you!
It was a great dio!
Thanks Daniel, a golden oldie which is still on the display shelf 👍
That's amazing as ever. I love the hedge.
Can you post the link to how to make the mud?
Skip to 13.00 in this one which shows the mix👍...... ruclips.net/video/VN_5JM5G85o/видео.html
Thank you!
It looks like in this video you added plaster of Paris to the mixture, but not in the other one. What do you recommend?
Also do you recommend adding the aquarium sand like in the other video?
For a tank hedgerow diorama, would you recommend using the AK interactive mud like you do in the other video?
Thanks!
If I want a thicker mixture then I'll add some plaster to the mix, its all dependant on what you are trying to achieve. There is no 'right' way to do things like this as they all work. Some of theses videos are quite old now so my methods have changed over time as I'm always experimenting 👍
@@CWModelling OK cool. Thank you!
